Wooden Medal - Completed (Score is Average of 14 games in it)

Not: Rating is for playing "todays"

Had to burn through this before it leaves Gamepass tomorrow.

It's mostly bad. The only stuff worth playing here is the original Pac-Man, Pac-Man Arrangement (1995), Pac-Attack, and maaaayybe Championship Edition (if you don't already have the + version). The rest of this collection is filled top to bottom with many variants of "Pac-Man but worse", as well as a couple truly terrible spin-off games.

The games don't necessarily have to be good to make a good collection, though. I loved Atari 50 despite thinking that most of the games there were bad because it's probably as of now the single best way to learn about the history of the early years of the video game industry. There's tons of other content and context given, which is the real draw in these sorts of compilations. There is no context in Pac-Man Museum. There are 14 Pac-Man games, a couple pretty good, a couple really bad, most of them unremarkable, in a flashy menu. This is in no sense of the word a "Museum". It's nothing more than a compilation of a bunch of random old games that Namco had lying around.
