I think there's a good game here but it's seriously bogged down by the grounded segments. They aren't even awful but the controls are such a pain and they end up being a slog especially by the end. I'm also not a huge fan of the free flying missions which boil down to flying in figure eights and looping when you're tailed. My favorite parts are definitely when its on rails.

So much about this game I actually find really cool and it's the closest to what I'd want Star Fox to be. The locations, the character interactions, the story, and more. If this game were expanded upon and improved to modern standards I think Star Fox could be in its final form.
