It's very easy to impress me with games similar to GRIS and JOURNEY, but I just wasn't a fan of this one. This has way more gameplay than the game it took all of its inspiration from, but sadly most of it feels extremely dull. The "lore" and the atmosphere didn't do much for me either, and while it was never frustrating to play, I felt absolutely nothing at all while playing this. But despite all of this, I do think that the team that worked on this has the potential to drop an absolute banger and I would love to see a new, polished game from them that's similar to AER.

Um jogo que me intrigou e me divertiu na jornada que apresentou, não espere nada grandioso, apenas aproveite a jornada e tente se divertir

A short and sweet game with a strong aesthetic. This is one of those games I'd describe as more of an experience than a game, where the main focus is going along for the ride more than anything else.

Glad to say I've played it, though I don't foresee myself revisiting it again in the future.

In AER: Memories of Old, you play as Auk, a pilgrim from the People of the Sky, who can shift into the form of a bird through her Spirit Animal (please note this is the term the game uses). Auk explores the world as it is now, learning about the past and the Great Divide.

This game is more of a guided exploration with the occasional puzzle/platforming experience rather than a game in either of these genres. I've seen many people call this a walking sim, and I'd agree - if that doesn't appeal to you, this isn't the game for you!

I played this on the Nintendo Switch, and the controls worked well. However, I did have some trouble with the graphics and cut scenes which ended up freezing and jumping around a little - so not ideal.

For somebody's first game? Good job. And it might be, I don't know. But everything aside from the flying physics is really boring and repetitive.

ogo incivilmente LINDO.

It's pretty short.... checks notes.... Sorry, pretty AND short. You can probably tell if you will like this one just from the cover art. A chill flying and exploration game that doesn't outstay it's welcome but doesn't offer anything additional to really elevate it beyond a calming flight.

After exiting the tutorial cave I was almost immediately overwhelmed by there being so much stuff to look at and almost no way to make sense of it all. The text box shadowing isn't strong enough so any special terms that get written in non-white are actually harder to read than the normal text. There's signs marking the paths within the village, but they're just "magic rune" font (like in a zelda) and you can't click them to read what they actually say (the opposite of a zelda). If there had been like, little markers on the map of where to go I probably could have muddled through, but with no guidance at all I think this one isn't for me.

short and relaxing but a bit glitchy at times?

While traversing is fun, AER: Memories of Old suffers from too many grinding halts for a game of its size.

Aesthetically and musically, it is beautiful.

As a video game, it's a bit eh...

Recomendo!
Obs: zerei com 3h

My cat was very fascinated by watching me fly)
A very beautiful and immersive tale. Thanks to the developers for letting me become a part of this story <3

A slow-paced discover the story game with fun flight. Aesthetically, it's beautiful, and I enjoyed it, but i used a guide to race through the content.

If you're a patient gamer, this is your game, if not, probably actually skip this one.

Just not for me. A bit too indie for me, meaning the story and play mode are a bit too weird for my taste. Great graphics and controls, nothing wrong here.

This game feels like it was made by 5 environmental designers and 5 artists, and none of them was confident enough to say that it lacks gameplay and is not very fun.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
ESSE JOGO É LINDO E MTO GOSTOSO
Fiquei mto calmo jogando, sério, perfeito

Beautiful game! The music and the flying mechanics just puts your mind at ease and makes you feel free and peaceful. The narrative was interesting. The only gripe I have with the game is Overall, the game was quite fun.

While it won't be everyone's cup of tea, I can safely say that I very much enjoyed my time with this game.

It is definitely more of a visual journey than a traditional platformer, but I think it does what it sets out to do very well.

Controlar qualquer coisa nesse jogo é horrível, especialmente o vôo do pássaro...

very nice, relaxing, and peaceful game though it is a bit buggy at times and pretty short but loved it

An adventure, platform, and puzzle game all in one. I really liked the open world. You're thrown into it after learning the basics. Little push to the direction of your objectives. It really wants you to explore on your own. There's no fighting or fear of fall damage. It made the experience laid back. You can wander around inside caves and old buildings, then outside you transform seamlessly into a bird to fly. It's pretty cool.

It was a short experience. I kind of wish it was a bit longer. But I'm glad none of it felt like filler. The low poly art style is fantastic with the whimsy world and the music/audio is really wonderful. I would recommend it if you want a chill experience.

Exploring the world is great, but the dungeons didnt work for me

This game got me back into gaming as a hobby with no pressures, slow paced, reflective on its story and a gaming experience for those who view gaming as a art medium
