Enquanto

No

This Swedish-developed indie title is definitely an enjoyable experience which will remind you of Zelda, especially Breath of the Wild. Minus the combat that is. This game has no combat at all and that's for the best. Instead it has an interesting flying mechanism which you use to travel between the different areas in the overworld. You visit various temples to gather pieces to continue to the next temple and so on.

Storywise it's a simple but good story. You're awaken and chosen according to legends to save what's left of the world from darkness and evil. Much like... yeah you guessed it; Zelda Breath of the Wild. But around there the likeness of the games stops. The game relies heavily on platforming, both inside the temples and caves as well as outdoors on the various islands. There's minor puzzles to be done to inside the temples to reach your goals, usually to collect a piece of a key or such. The game is quite open world and doesn't feel too linear, with that said there are of course requirements to continue to the next temple and to finish the game.

So let's talk about the ending. I won't spoil anything but it does leave you with a "Oh, but I want moreee"-feeling. Tough luck, the studio sadly closed down not long after the release of the game so no sequel is in development. I wouldn't say the ending is disappointing, but it does feel like a cliffhanger if anything.

I do however recommend this game for people who want to try out a unique indie game. It's easy to get into, not hard at all to play and the lack of combat/death makes it quite accessible. I do recommend playing it with a controller though, since the controls for flying can be a bit iffy.

While it won't be everyone's cup of tea, I can safely say that I very much enjoyed my time with this game.

It is definitely more of a visual journey than a traditional platformer, but I think it does what it sets out to do very well.

It's chill. That's kinda it. Slow paced, nice atmosphere, flying felt decent. It didn't blow me away as a game but was an enjoyable experience.

Recomendo!
Obs: zerei com 3h

A slow-paced discover the story game with fun flight. Aesthetically, it's beautiful, and I enjoyed it, but i used a guide to race through the content.

If you're a patient gamer, this is your game, if not, probably actually skip this one.

My cat was very fascinated by watching me fly)
A very beautiful and immersive tale. Thanks to the developers for letting me become a part of this story <3

This game got me back into gaming as a hobby with no pressures, slow paced, reflective on its story and a gaming experience for those who view gaming as a art medium

Price: 2 bucks

The mechanic that carries this game is clearly the flying. So why there's dungeons at all in this game is a big question. Took me 15 minutes to complete half of the first one. Saved, quit, came back, puts me at the start of the dungeon again. Gotta redo it. Great.

Traversing the overworld is amazing, gorgeous. Why the game forces you into confusing dungeons is a mystery.

The other dungeons aren't so bad, i actually quite enjoyed them. More flying would be better though. The story is not too captivating, i got the jist of it and didn't care too much. A cute game that i would recommend if you chase that serene feeling in games like i do.

While traversing is fun, AER: Memories of Old suffers from too many grinding halts for a game of its size.

short and relaxing but a bit glitchy at times?

A very calm, enjoyable game! The flying controls might be a bit tricky to get a hold of, but once you do it's all smooth sailing! There's an interesting story with even more background lore you can figure out by exploring, the graphics are stylized and so pleasing to look at, and the different temples with the puzzles are fun to figure out while not being overly difficult or frustrating!
A quite enjoyable experience, overall. Definitely recommended!

Beautiful game, I loved it so much it is so fun to play

It's pretty short.... checks notes.... Sorry, pretty AND short. You can probably tell if you will like this one just from the cover art. A chill flying and exploration game that doesn't outstay it's welcome but doesn't offer anything additional to really elevate it beyond a calming flight.

ogo incivilmente LINDO.

Aesthetically and musically, it is beautiful.

As a video game, it's a bit eh...

Beautiful game! The music and the flying mechanics just puts your mind at ease and makes you feel free and peaceful. The narrative was interesting. The only gripe I have with the game is Overall, the game was quite fun.

Just not for me. A bit too indie for me, meaning the story and play mode are a bit too weird for my taste. Great graphics and controls, nothing wrong here.

One of the better "walking" simulators that I have played. The story is pretty good, but if anything is the selling point here it should be the fact that you can FREELY FLY THROUGHOUT THE BEAUTIFUL MAP. This is going to be my go to game just to endlessly fly when I'm feeling down or depressed. That in itself is enough for me to recommend this game.

Exploring the world is great, but the dungeons didnt work for me

An adventure, platform, and puzzle game all in one. I really liked the open world. You're thrown into it after learning the basics. Little push to the direction of your objectives. It really wants you to explore on your own. There's no fighting or fear of fall damage. It made the experience laid back. You can wander around inside caves and old buildings, then outside you transform seamlessly into a bird to fly. It's pretty cool.

It was a short experience. I kind of wish it was a bit longer. But I'm glad none of it felt like filler. The low poly art style is fantastic with the whimsy world and the music/audio is really wonderful. I would recommend it if you want a chill experience.
