made me forget about exams and fail a course.
now I need to retake that failed course.

My favorite of the logistics/conveyer belt games, but I find it incredibly hard to return to, given how shitty the creator is. If you can overlook that, there's an incredible game here - I'm just not sure I can overlook that.

THE FACTORY MUST GROW THE FACTORY MUST GROW

Every other factory builder is pretty much just a pale imitation of factorio, and not even really because of the amount of content or gameplay. The thing that really sets factorio apart is the user experience. In the late game, factory builders can start to feel more like microsoft excel than a video game, and so you naturally start to want those kinds of features. Factorio has literally every convenience feature you could possibly want.

i'm not smart enough for this game and it's still fun. I wish I could get payed to mess around in it.

Absolutely phenomenal game to play with friends.

The game that popularized the factory building genre. Is great fun and deserves nothing less than a 5 star rating. Some people prefer the game without bugs, but either way the game is great.

this one hurt my brain but something about building a nuclear reactor satisfied the spirit of a dead physicist in my room so it was worth it

I need 0.0003% more efficiency on my iron gear line, just one more assembler, just one more assembler, just one more assembler, just one more assembler

I don't know what I would do to improve this game.

Worth the sleep deprivation and adhd diagnosis

My factory will never be max efficiency but I suppose that's the point. Great sandbox gameplay. You can go insane trying to make your factory even a single % better

i fall off after making some trains, i get stressed that im going to lose out on my resources

This is a genuinely dangerous game, it's incredibly addictive and honestly potentially life wrecking. Autism catnip. The only way to win is not to play it.

The first time I played this game was maybe the fastest 6 hours I’ve ever wasted in my life

Crack cocaine for autistic individuals

Some actual genius shit. So much love and autism poured into this one

most addictive game of all time

i swear ill beat it eventually

Do NOT play this game if you value having a sleep schedule and also a life outside of running around your factory trying to find out why you have millions of gallons of light oil and where all your green circuits went. Spoiler: both problems are somehow because you don't have enough iron. You NEVER have enough iron.

9/10. A beautiful allegory for addiction

AH OTRA VEZ ESTOY TOMANDO FALOPA AH ME ENCANTA MALDITA FALOPA

A great mechanical and thought provoking game. This game is the eptiome of what builder games should be. It knows what it wants and it serves it to you in a way that is digestable. However complex this game may seem, there is always going to be something that will lead you in the right direction. It does tike quite a lot of time, but it's not the type of game that requires a jobless grind in order to have fun. You can always go at your own pace in the freeroam, and other modes. Or take a relaxing crack at building a full system in the cheat mode. Overall a great game, not my favorite but definetly the best builder game I've ever played.

Actual addiction.
+ A problem is presented. A solution is made - by you. The solution is deployed. You unlock the next problem. You realize your previous solution needs polishing. Repeat.
+ Excellent sound. Atmospheric noises to study/sleep to.
+ Huge QOL improvements since launch, and it just keeps getting better.
+ The huge amount of community content ensures that even when you finish the game and assorted challenge runs, you will Never be done.

why do i like factory simulators so much?????

Played this in lockdown a while back with a pal for a week straight, 7 hours a day and beat it.
It tickled my lizard brain and I simply couldn't stop laying down train rails and shooting bugs.

Hellish timeportal, but I'll always cherish the time I had playing it with my friend.

This should be used to diagnose adults with autism. It'd easily be better at that than getting some psychologist to administer you tests designed for children.

The Engineer Says: the pinnacle of automation and logistics gaming. The knowledge barrier is so unbelievably high that it would take hundreds of hours (minimum) to understand most of what this game has to offer.
