It's playable, but length of the game is incredibly long for content in it and it's gameplay loop. If you completed world tour - than you completed 80-90% of the game, because all other DLC's and game modes is just reuse of those tracks, except SENNA dlc, which is the last 10-20% of content in the game. Adventures is terrible, you can't even see reward for this 5 pretty difficult races (ecxept car on the first place which is your reward and most of the time just recolour of your car, like darker orange on NSX, while car already have orange colour), which will waste your nerves because of the AI and level design. Races by themselves is easy, but your AI opponents and their fat asses is very annoying on the tight corners. Like... it will be okay if reward will be good, but reward (most of the time, there is a few good styles for cars too, but just a few) is RECOLOUR! Take your green audi, or dark orange NSX, yeah, definitly worth it. Also last cars unlocks for completing all tournaments, 1 car for each difficulty, and all endurance challenges, because you will get only 1 car for highest difficulty challenge and to unlock it you need to complete previous challenges))))
Game can be not that bad if you will play it on the phone or in the toilet on your steamdeck for 20-40 minutes, but it's not any capable for complete PC or console game. Poor soundtrack which starts to being annoying pretty fast, only 1 type of the race - circle for all game, and wasted potential of good tracks, there is only very grounded and ordinary tracks, not anything special or interesting. But cars are good, they feels different, have personalitys and etc. Maps and tracks (for their ordinaryty) is kinda not THAT bad (shit background and sometimes it's hard to distinguish texture borders on the track, but weather and some parts of the tracks are feels good)

Em meio a tantos jogos de corrida genéricos e sem alma lançados nos últimos tempos, Horizon Chase Turbo é uma joia escondida em meio a esse gênero.

O jogo carrega um saudosismo enorme com suas inspirações em jogos de corrida clássicos, com uma gameplay gostosa, desafiadora e diferente para cada carro que você pega.

Perfeito pra se chamar um amigo e jogar no modo Tela dividida.

Had a good sale and heard it was a classic arcade racer so gave a shot for some gameplay variety.
As mentioned, Horizon Chase Turbo is an Arcade racer. The high speed nature is adrenalin pumping. What made this game great is the AI difficulty is on point. Sure there is some rubber banding but it's nothing too noticeable and is overall fair in gameplay. There were moment you want them to 'get out of the way' but is very achievable to come first if you choose the right car for the track.
This is the part where it is strategic, you need to figure out the right car for the track you are racing. Such as, you are running a long track, its important to choose a car with good fuel economy over a car that goes fast.
There is further strategy in selecting which upgrades you need for your vehicles to your driving style and cars you prefer. I found some tracks to be better then others, the most annoying part is the narrow roads in some areas and having so many cars bunched up, it can be frustrating when you cannot overtake.
The music is suited for the game, but is definitely forgettable with the lack of music track variety.
The game runs at 60fps, however, I did encounter some minor stutters. The game did crash on me one while playing.

I immediately remember the old arcade races on old consoles when I first started the game. A very pleasant shell hides the eternal monotonous gameplay of this game and what infuriates us most is the terribly developed car collision mechanics. But even with such a drawback, the game attracted the world tour for 6 hours and fans of multiplayer or local skating will enjoy this game more.

Сразу вспоминаются старые аркадные гонки на старых консолях при первом запуске игры. Очень приятная оболочка скрывает вечный однообразный геймплей этой игры и больше всего бесит, так это ужасно проработанная механика столкновения машин. Но даже имея такой недостаток, игра завлекла на мировом турне на 6 часов и любителям мультиплеерных или локальных катаний, зайдет эта игра больше.

Great sense of speed, good looking visuals but in the end it was too repetitive for me. I couldn't find any motivation to play everything that this game had to offer. Was a decent experience though.
