Legit one of the comfiest experience you can ask from a videogame: do you need an adventure that is legit only positive vibes and nothing else? This is the game for you.
It's the perfect "game to fall asleep to", with a great artstyle and a cozy vibe........ maybe too cozy....
Yeah I know a lot of people like this one, myself included, but I just think it's an okay time: the majority of kirby games, while overall simple, are able to combine a chilly atmosphere and designs with a bit of more challenging thingies.
This game has zero challenge; it's a game where you literally can't die at all, and everything is extremely simple: it's still all really adorable, and it's not like there is no variety: the levels has nice gimmicks, kirby got different forms that adds some fresh take on the yarn formula, and some of the bosses are okay (I like the Magician Pumpkin specifically)
And the ability to enjoy the whole experience together with another person alone makes for a memorable time that raises the score on its own.
But yeah I kinda wish a bit more was done in terms of overall challenges. It's a good time.... maybe a little too good.. but still worth giving it a shot because of the incredible presentation and charming visuals

i got this game for the wii ages ago but didnt end up finishing it because the disc was too scratched and would crash on the first level of the final world, so finishing this after about a decade gives me like a deep sense of satisfaction especially since ive never gotten spoiled. its like i finally finished an aspect of my childhood that never had a conclusion
I played this game with my baby cousin, who's father had bought this game intentionally as one of their first digital romps. Sure, her constantly wanting to be in the lead got old fast, but seeing her excitement whenever she told me her favourite parts, what excited her, what scared her, and what amused her were some of the memories I knew she would cherish. She loved showing me every little thing, and having had over 50 hours on her save file just from replaying levels alone, I knew she was having the time of her life playing this game.
I got what I wanted during my 5-hour marathon for this game, but I know deep in my heart, my baby cousin is still getting everything she ever needs from just this little Kirby game, and I'm forever grateful for that.

This game should be pretty boring. The pace is slow, there is virtually no challenge, and its not even really a Kirby game, but there actually is some fun to be had. visually it looks very nice and there are some well made puzzles and bosses. it would be a great game for someone under the age of 10. it is fun though, and its pretty short.
Before this I played Yoshi's Crafted World and Peach Showtime demo, so the first half an hour felt a little like deja-vù on the gameplay presentation.
It's a very easy and charming game so far as you would expect, potentially the easiest Kirby also to date. But it's unique and plays very safe. If you want a game for family to enjoy on your own or together, you should try this one!

Fun fact, I never beat this one as a kid because when I would always play it I would be so relaxed and soothed by the music i'd always fall asleep. After actually going through the whole thing and seeing what I was missing out on all these years, yeah, it's pretty good! It's a very chill and easy 2D platformer that I think anyone of any skill level will be able to jump in and have a good time. Honestly for what this game was trying to accomplish it does it well, and the ideas presented here are really well done and fun to play with. One of the better yarn related games out there.
