As the strongest kart racer, PlankGOAT fought the fraud, the queen of squirrels... He began to drift around puddles, Sandy shrunk back in fear and PlankGOAT said "Stand proud Sandy, you are strong."

Relogged this as I'd planned to replay the story mode to completion but it's not worth it.
A lot of the minigames work best with more human players, because the majority of the 2v2 games you play with a computer are actually super annoying because it involves you waiting for your CPU partner to do something while the team that's entirely CPU absolutely dominates you.

I'd imagine playing this with 4 people in the same room would be fun but playing it by yourself with 3 computer characters is annoying.
Also; one character, CPU or not, has to get 12,000 points in order for the story to continue.
Fuck that, fuck this.
Why? What's wrong with "most points wins"?

one of the few actually good party minigame collections, no i'm not bias this time

My copy was taken from a rental shop, so if anyone at Rogers Video wants item #736 back hit me up I'll mail it to you

"SpongeBob SquarePants: Lights, Camera, Pants!" is a decent multiplayer party game, especially enjoyable for fans of the SpongeBob series. However, for solo players, the experience falls flat and lacks engagement. While playable alone, the true charm of the game shines through when played with friends.

One standout aspect is the racing part, which I particularly enjoyed. It adds a fun and competitive element to the gameplay, injecting some excitement into the overall experience. Despite its shortcomings as a solo player, "SpongeBob SquarePants: Lights, Camera, Pants!" still offers some entertainment value for fans of the series.

Dont remember much about this game, just know i played it.

Very fond memories of this game when I was a kid, might get an emulator to play it again honestly.

The best minigames in the Mario Party series that has negative replayability within the same group. Can't recommend enough even without the Spongebob license.

Era divertidinho e tem alguns minigames bem legais

I love the whole gimmick of this game, the whole deal of fighting through an entire campaign of party games for roles in a movie. Seeing yourself in that movie cutscene at the end of each area is a fun reward.

My mom asked if the dishes were done and I yelled “PLANKTON!”
She hugged me. She knew they were washed.

(Played before 2023)
This was one of those games you got as a kid because you liked Spongebob and it was what your mom saw on a GameStop shelf. At least, that is what happened with me. I liked the game as a kid but it had pretty awful minigames and I really didn’t have anyone to play with, but it certainly could’ve been worse.

For some reason, I played far more Mario Party clones as a kid than actual Mario Party. This isn't quite Muppets Party Cruise level of legend, but it's the next in a string of banger ass Spongebob games released in the mid-2000s.

this game had so much sauce. as a kid playing on my own, plankton won every role because I had set him to the hardest difficulty without understanding what I was doing.

its so so so fun

Rented this one a lot as a kid. I remember it being a pretty good little mini game collection, and had a blast with my mom and cousins every time we picked it up

I don't remember enough about it to review it, and my copy is scratched to hell and unplayable. I enjoyed it when I was a kid.

Pulled it out of the bargain bin along with a copy of Endless Ages. Did not play this one much longer

Overall being a movie fan and a SpongeBob fan the idea of playing mini-games to determine the casting for a superhero movie in the SpongeBob universe is great, and the multiple characters give high replay value as the characters will have different lines in the scenes you shoot. The mini-games are hit or miss but this is a fun time.
