A thrilling rougelike packed with references and entertaining enemies. Finding new things, especially guns, is an insane thrill.
Can be hard as balls sometimes but never feels discouraging when you die. Plenty of weapons and items, and synergies were handled amazingly.

The difficulty curve is rather interesting. The game is tough to learn, but the ceiling isn't that much higher than the floor (my experience).

This game is like the bad ex that I always come back too.
Nice rogue-like, but I think Isaac just spoiled me to the point where it's very difficult for me to enjoy any other game in the genre. I really appreciate the game's charme though.
