the UI is the least user friendly thing i’ve ever had to use

Extremely boring to play, once you do one or two laps of a track you know it, the campaign’s standard is 5… you are just repeating yourself. I found myself thinking about other things while playing. AI’s difficulty is either extremely hard or a total pushover with almost no in between. You start around 30 seconds behind first place and usually catch up to them in 1 or 2 laps, on the other hand you barely get close or in 4-16th which the game treats as a loss. If you are in the lead by 10+ seconds it basically turns into a time trial.

The graphics are gorgeous, no denying that. On specific tracks you can see low poly models change to high poly (particularly the bottom of fences) and now I can't help but notice it, a pretty small issue though.

The loot boxes are total shit, I have gotten the worst prize possible for everyone I have opened except maybe 2? Got a f1 car one time but that was probably like 1 in 10,000 or more. Monetization is pretty scummy, most modern cars are horribly overpriced (upwards of 1 mil) with the option to skip the grind through microtransactions. Also, the transactions are pretty costly for the amount they give 30$AUD for 2 million credits.

the most beautiful game ive ever played graphically. truly a work of art that showcases not only the technology that it runs on flawlessly, but the future of just how realistic games can look.

with that being said, as a gran turismo game, this game fails in every aspect, and that's truly a shame, because this is my first gran turismo game and even i know that this isn't how it's supposed to be. truly a disgusting game in this series that shows just how badly the disconnect between the company and the players has gotten with this series.

More than 180h, especially with PSVR2, GT7 is extremely satisfying! Maybe, Championships are missing to increase the interest but the drive is phenomenal. Thanks to the monthly update, I'm continuing to do some races.

:-) car go vroom!
:-( lottery system and micro transactions

Fans waited 5 years for Gran Turismo Sport to get to Gran Turismo 7, and it was not worth the wait. I give this game 3 stars, and one star is for the photo mode. While the game has great graphics and lots of the best cars in the business, it just had too many problems at launch. I played 70 hours and finished all the menus. The grind for credits is miserable; the loot boxes are always unfavorable; and the always online requirement is unnecessary. Months after release, they are still promising better handling of reckless drivers. At one point, the game was the lowest-rated Sony game in Metacritic, with just cause. It's over a year since its release and I still don't think I'll revisit it.

I do not know what I can say more but this is the one of the best car racing game. If you own a PlayStation 5 you should give a try.

6/10. Gran Turismo always has a great polished and stylish presentation. However, the functionality of in-game microtransactions for currency and the sale of cars with real money destroys the game as a single player experience.

Vroom vroom skrrrrrrr
Most fun multiplayer skill building other than fighting games ngl ngl

im not a huge fan of sim-racing games but all the DF coverage leading up to release convinced me to give it a try and I absolutley loved it. A visual treat and it feels great to get better at the game, even if im just racing the computer the whole time. Only qualm is that its always online and exclusivity/price of higher end cars :/

I always keep a Gran Turismo game on deck for whenever I feel like driving. I was beyond excited for this game to release and I bought it day 1, but after diving into it, GT7 was a bit of a disappointment. Thankfully, through continued support from Polyphony, GT7 has blossomed into one of the best Gran Turismo games (in my opinion).

I will say the game is absolutely gorgeous and it sounds and feels amazing - The frustrating part is the heavy emphasis on monetization. Cars are expensive and if you don't have enough credits, the game is sure to let you know that spending your real life money is also an option. Personally, I would much rather pay double the retail price for this game and have none of the microtransactions present. It just feels bad to see all of that in such a gorgeous game.

It felt like the marketing for GT7 was pushing this cool, relaxing cafe where you can hangout, take on new objectives and marvel at the beauty of your current vehicle. In reality, the cafe feels extremely bare bones and is just a place to receive your next objective.

Another frustration is the fact that for a while now, Gran Turismo has had almost exclusively rolling starts for the races in game. It just feels weird that there are no grid starts. Race after race, you begin in last place and have to catch all the way up to first place.

Thankfully, the game has been well-maintained and has a lot on content to play through and a ton of cars to drive. All in all - a great game, just not exactly what I was hoping for.

Jogaria de novo, mas não tenho mais o videogame então quem sabe um dia esse ou algum da sequência.

Must play for fans of the racing series. Best racing MP for semi-casual racing fans.

So damn fun but man that economy really sucked on release. Still put in so many hours on it when it came out.

Aggressive monetisation aside, this game is an absolute banger. Multiplayer side of things is really fun, the license tests are brutal (as they should be!) and it's a really great package that is continuously updated. Probably the best console sim racer out there for my money.

Just boring. Go to the cafe, get a list of cars to collect. Collect the cars, repeat. Be forced to do a series of driving tests to take the next set of races. Repeat.

Probably my favorite after GT4 and GT6, too bad the penalty system is utter dogshit

Bought a PS4 just to play this game, was very close to buying a PS5 for it. It's not perfect but a lot of the hate is unwarranted and the constant free updates show that Polyphony care a lot about this game

One of the best driving simulators money can buy. However the GT series is slow to innovate and the latest rendition carries the same issues that were present in the previous games. No visible damage, bad AI, bad menu design, etc… . If you can look past these issues, you’ll find a driving game with a wealth of options, a lot of care to get all details right.

The game is very fun. You can see how much effort they put into the details. The driving is pretty fluid but later on it Just gets to hard for me

Really enjoyed the cafe missions, helped give me a solid finality to the game, since I'm not a hardcore sim racing guy.

I don't know, maybe I'm just not enough of a car lover for a game like this. I'm probably really the wrong target group.

But nevertheless the game is beautiful, you can have fun and for car fans it is certainly a wet dream. But I definitely have to deduct points for the grind intensity and the microtransactions

What a game is this! Gran Turismo 4 was one of the first games I have ever touch in my life and as a huge racing fan I was looking forward to play this one! It was such a magical experience and it's the only Gran Turismo game that gives me the same vibes as I had when I played GT4. The graphics are amazing, for a PS4 game. The handling is nearly perfect and the difficulty is also such a great thing, since it's actually difficult if you use the correct settings in the custom race mode.

The online, also known as sports mode, is a bit of a nightmare from time to time with the time slots the races are in and a weird penalty system, which made my online experience not as enjoyable as the races against bots were, but in the end I had fun with the game.

I am proud to have this in my platinum collection as a well deserved milestone platinum 🏆

I'm not really into cars but this is such an earnest celebration of cars that it's actually quite infectious. Plus I bought the car I have in real life in the game and I had no idea it could go that fast.

I love this game! It's the first serious racing game I've ever bought and I bought it almost straight after seeing the Gran Turismo movie. I've had a great time and I hope to get a wheel soon so I can truly experience the racing. This was a great intro into racing games for me, and I'm slowly moving onto things like Asseto Corsa and other works. I love this game for the details in the car and overall look of the game.
