Solid game, the motion controls are executed very well. The new modes are also fun. Only the balancing could be better.

It's fine. It was a step in the right direction and had some cool new ideas for the franchise, such as unique dice for each character. It forces you to play with a single Joycon, which is one of the stupidest things ever. Not worth playing over Mario Party Superstars, but better than last few Mario Party games.

I know this game is now retroactively bad and I wouldn't go back to Super either but having something to play with friends for a bit was nice. The mini games are good, I can give SMP that

Come on, this game was gas. Getting all of the gems was fun as hell and actually challenging. Game was just a banger.
Didn't play much of it because the boards are honestly kinda boring

Muy flojito, seguramente el peor Mario Party que he jugado.
I actually don't mind the smaller maps, different dice, and quicker matches. I think it lends itself better to not pissing everyone but the winner off (more so than previous titles at least)
Es injusto, premia la suerte sobre la habilidad y hace que te enfurezcas contigo mismo, con tus amigos y con la madre que les parió a Nintendo: en conclusión, es la experiencia Mario Party definitiva.

I applaud Nintendo for at least attempting to return to true Marioparty gameplay after the disasters that were 9 and 10, however this game still sucks. At least Superstars is an actual decent Marioparty but even it only has like 4 boards
if you like wrist pain this is the game for you
a few more titles like these and we'll have an actually good mario party in around a decade!

best couch game to play with friends. Board game makes me rage a lot though.
a great selection of minigames (I really like motion controls) but a somewhat lackluster roster of boards (some of these really don't have much going on) would've made this a really meh entry, but I like some of this game's ideas, even if I would've liked to see them expanded upon : character specific dices is a cool concept but makes the whole thing pretty unbalanced, a coop game mode I love in concept but the execution here makes it not that interesting and the visual flare of it isn't anything groundbreaking (though I really like the soundtrack for some reason??)
Fuck it i thought it was fun. Motion control can be fun if you don't have a worm in your ear telling you that thats the reason you suck at the game
