A step back from the second game. The game felt rushed and uninspired. Still enjoyable but lost the charm and flair of the second.

When you realise that the action meant more to the developers than an actually meaningful narrative. Also they did something to Chloe and Elena's faces in this one that makes them look pretty weird compared to previous games.
This would be a 5/5 but for the weirdly abrupt and anti-climactic ending.

y con uncharted 3 di por finalizada la saga en su momento. a pesar de que la única razón por la cual jugue esta saga fue porque era el unico juego que tenia en la ps4 y que en situaciones normales nunca lo hubiese jugado porque tengo 0 interés por lo que ha sacado Naughty Dog post Jak n Daxter, admito que fuera de que lo jugué porque no había más nada que jugar la verdad es que me parecio una saga entrete y sus escenas estupidamente exageradas aunque muchos las critican, para mi es el mayor encanto de la saga

This is my personal favourite out of the original trilogy.
The story definitely lacks a bit compared to the second game, which I can see being the main reason why it's usually more highly praised than this one. The story is still not bad here and it has some genuinely good moments especially in the beginning of the game. The good moments are just sadly soured a bit by some questionable writing and plot holes.
Everything else in this game is a straight upgrade in my eyes. Better spectales, better level variaty, more enjoyable combat and combat encounters and improved melee combat with some other small tweaks. Even puzzles are an improvement and I finally got through Uncharted game without watching puzzle walkthroughs.

Honestly most of its fun came from the multiplayer. While I still really liked the story mode in 3 I think it was the weakest in terms of story out of the original trilogy. Still a must play.
Probably the most underrated in this series. Most memorable set pieces and really fun gameplay, though the story takes a bit of a hit here. I've got a lot of nostalgia since it's the first game I ever played though.
My memorable entry into the series left me craving more.
A better story than the second, with naughty dog further refining the gameplay. It had more variety in its set pieces and areas, which made it so you're never truly bored throughout the entire experience. Uncharted 3 had a lot to live up to and surpassed everything set before it. If you had to play one Uncharted game, this would be it.
