I remember this being a staple for couch co-op whenever I had friends over in grade school. Not many games were as fun as Nintendo Land with multiple people who didn't often play video games. It's an extremely polished collection of minigames, while not as iconic as Wii Sports; I'd say Nintendo Land is a rival in quality as far as console pack-in titles go.
Highlight for me was always the Luigi's Mansion game. The Wii U made screen cheating fun.

I pretty much only played the Mario Chase and Luigi's Mansion games. They were super fun and really showcased cool uses of the game pad.

The Metroid game went too hard for what it's worth. A great collection of microgames based on Nintendo IPs.

Really great use of the Wii U gamepad, with the minigames being really fun and unique due to the different ways they use the gamepad, as well as the way they implemented multiplayer means this game is really great to play when you've got friends to play with. Just sucks my gamepad has horrible connection because half these games lose connection whilst playing as it relies so heavily on the gamepad, so my experience with this game isn't as good as it should be.

Este es el mejor juego que he jugado en cuanto a multijugador, sin duda alguna. Le di muchísimas horas en solitario y adoré cada día jugándolo con mis amigos.

Insanely solid to come with a gaming system. Camera trolling in Mario Chase has never felt better.

One of the best party games I have ever played. Truly anyone can play this one and I have had hours of fun playing with my family. Lots of good memories were made with this. On par with Wii Sports Resort, but maybe even better in some ways since each mini game is so unique and creative.

Big Nintendo Land defender over here. A lot of folks dunked on it for not being Wii Sports but I honestly think Nintendo Land is more of a proper game than Wii Sports was even if it's not as groundbreaking. I genuinely think Nintendo Land was a great launch title to show what the Wii U was capable of.

Need I say anything?????? IT HAS THE CAMERA THING ON THE MARIO CHASE!!!!!! LIKE WHAAAAAT

But in all seriousness, an incredible time. I've had a lot of fond memories playing with my cousins and friends when I was younger, and it has only brought out good times. Probably a top 5 Wii U game for me.

i was oddly obsessed with octopus dance back in 2016

Dog I am not buying 3 more wii motion plus to play the metroid minigame.

Very nostalgic I used to play this with friends so its rooted in my childhood but the repeatability factor does not feel there

I actually really enjoyed this game and would still probably have a blast playing it now. The concept is really charming - a Nintendo "theme park" with multiple attractions (mini games) based off of various Nintendo franchises. The Metroid and Zelda games had no business being as fun as they were and made for super fun co-op experiences. The competitive modes were also really fun and had hilarious little niche uses of the gamepad that improved the experience more enjoyable without necessarily forcing the hardware features down your throat (such as the camera on the Mario hunt mode, or in the Luigi's mansion game with the ability to navigate the mansion as a ghost on the gamepad and have the hunters not able to see you on the TV). One of the few Wii U games that I can actually say I'd probably go back to.

This was probably the Wii U's best game for a long while, serving as a love letter for Nintendo's franchises through really well-made and fun minigames. The replayability is there, but the game could had used online or CPUs for singleplayer. I doubt this game will ever be rereleased, but it'd be nice!

Przyzwoity zestaw minigierek, zwłaszcza zelda

fun minigame collection for at lease 3 hours

luigis mansion game and mario chase were peak fiction

So charming and so polished. Definitely has a unique charm missing from newer Nintendo games.

For the first Wii U game, this is a nice way of kicking off the console, and honestly pretty creative for going tour with their IPs.
I hope we get another game like it eventually, cause its very good.

this game genuinely fucks, and im tired of pretending it doesnt

Great party game, lots of cool uses for the gamepad.

That's a great game that utilizes the gamepad in many clever ways. All the minigames are fun even the F-Zero one, the only that feels overly gimmicky. Both the multiplayer and the single player ones have enough content to be played multiple times. It also looks gorgeous, it's legit one of the most beautiful games out there. BTW the DK Crash Course is legit one of the most difficult games ever made.

mario chase and luigi's mansion game are some of the most fun party games

Nintendo please for the love of god, find some way to port these mini games to the Switch. Maybe everyone can use their phones as the gamepad somehow? They are too good to let die on that unfairly loathed console.

7/10

I was speedrunning Metroid and Zelda before I ever touched a Metroid or Zelda game.

What a genuinely amazing game. Love the HUB, almost all the minigames are short, sweet and a blast with friends. Just pure fun, one of the best Wii U games

AKA "The Metroid Blast and Friends Collection" as me and literally everyone else I played this with called it.

Does it give wii sports a run for its money??? No, but it was still pretty decent, and utilized the Wii U pad in fun ways.
