When I'm one race away from ranking up and a 470 degree turn causes my controller to vibrate like a sex toy and my car to explode like a gmod ragdoll, relegating me to 11th place for the rest of match (this will lose 34% of my rank) (I am only playing this gamemode because it takes 900 hours to reach Level 72 in the Battlepass)

Probably my favorite mode in fortnite, I dont know why it's more popular. The game feels extremely fast, maps are expansive and are distinct in its layout. And the mechanics of flying and flipping especially are great ways to spice up the game loop. It just feels really good to play consistently, its not perfect especially with the emphasis on checkpoints, but It's consistently fun everytime I play it.

Pretty fun but needs more updates

Sometimes this is Mario Kart 8 at home. I think it's my favorite of the new modes they've added, but there are times where the collision is borked, and the assets are reused in ways that feel bad. I do enjoy the feeling of some of the tracks where you're able to finish 6 seconds in front of everyone else because you can route better.

fine arcade racer but gets repetitive fast

actually just broken. one of the worst things ive ever played.

Super buggy. Sometimes you just die from hitting a wall and the game decided you clipped through it, except this happens almost every race. Even without that it's just poor mans f-zero, though at this point it's nearly worth it.

This mode has made my desire for a new F-Zero simmer down

Needs more meat on it's bones but as it stands it's addictive and fun as fuck.

Look man, if we gonna be cool, you can't be doing that rocket racing shit.

It can be fun but the gameplay is really simple and repetitive. its basically Mario Kart but without any items. Not anything too great but it is free to play.

Man this game is not good but I put way more hours into ranked than I should've. Like it's so broken but the sense of speed and perfecting your lap times, there is something there. Hopefully it's not abandoned and they build on it because there is some real potential here.

i’m giving it a good rating because technically it’s not a bad game, but there is nothing really unique about it. definitely not as strong as lego fortnite in terms of creativity.

You know a franchise is running out of ideas when they have to make a racing spinoff game. At least it's free and not full price like LEGO 2K Drive or Disney Speedstorm.

It's just another racing game, to be honest. But I love racing games and haven't played any in years. This scratched the perfect itch for me, but it's nothing super shocking and it doesn't blow any other racing game out of the water. It is simply just another racer amongst the rest.

Mixed feelings. Game plays great and is actually really fun, but as you climb the online ranks you start getting put into more "advanced" tracks all of which are the exact same tracks you've been playing but with tons of stupid orange hazard blocks scattered everywhere. Yeah, it's certainly more challenging but it's a lot less fun. The game's at it's best on simple straightforward tracks with lots of interesting shortcuts and hidden boosters that reward using the full movement tools you're given.

Also feels like this mode is almost already dead. Epic is stil pushing Lego and Festival very hard in promotion but it already feels like RR is being left with a skeleton crew just porting over old Rocket League assets. A real shame.

I feel no incentive to play this beyond a small burst of joy when I see 45k XP roll in. It feels fun to go fast, but when the map variety, cool tech, and progression is so barebones it's hard to want to play it for anything more than the extrinsic reward of Battle Pass XP.

This could be really fun if it wasn’t the most barebones mode possible. Maybe in like a year it’ll be worth playing.

I... can't believe it. This game is boring! The tech is simple, the tracks are simple, it's just so... plain! This is by the guys who made Rocket League, and I love Rocket League, so what gives?

Rocket Racing is stale bread.

$30 for a fucking car cosmetic let's go!

If it wasn't because of Chocobo GP, this would be the most sauceless racing game I've ever played

Ok, not gonna lie out of the three Fortnite games or whatever you call them, this one is the best. Still a really low bar to beat.
