Shitty movement, lack of intuitiveness, the inventory sucks, getting an item stuck in your hand is horrible.
That said, it's nice to play with friends, but never alone. And the soundtrack is surprisingly great, especially during missions.

I’ve never played a game that feels so much like an unpaid internship. You have to pay 60$, then you also need to bring atleast 2 friends, preferably 3, and then you just have to find things to do. You really have to work to play this game and when you actually do it’s 80% boring, 10% getting decimated in PvP, 10% fun.
Bu oyun beni çok büyük bir ikileme sokuyor. Bu oyun üzerine uğraşılmış, dopdolu bir oyun mu, yoksa sadece dolu kılıfı giydirilmiş, bomboş bir oyun mu? Bu sorunun cevabını daha çok oynadıkça alacağım sanırım, fakat oyunda bir amaçsızlık hissi var. Bilmiyorum, belki sadece bende oluyordur bu. Karakterimin veya geminin güzel görünmesini sağlamak normalde benim için ilgi çekici bir amaç olurdu. Sonuçta, bu bir sandbox oyun ve istediğini yapmakta özgürsün. Yanlış anlaşılma olmasın, oyunun melee combat mekaniği harici oynanışını seviyorum. Normalde denizlerle, gemilerle haşır neşir bir insan değilim, ama bu oyunda korsan olmak gerçekten zevkli. Dört kişi toplanıp oynanırsa, tadından yenmeyeceğini düşünüyorum.

a perfect game. maybe a few years too late, however.
I would be lying if I said I didn't have fun traveling from island to island with friends, but the impermanence of so many of your accomplishments consistently makes me wonder what the point of what we're doing is. Travel around in your ship to get money to upgrade your ship to travel around doesn't seem like the most complex system but the lack of it means that assuming you don't have a lot of treasure on board, you don't really care about your ship or even if you get attacked. If I could have a version of this game with this game's great navigation that requires actual communication, but with more use for money than buying shinier eyepatches I think I would love it.

I like that everyone has the same weapons, the same ship types, etc. so that it’s really dependent on skill if you’re into PvP.
I’m still not that far into the game progression-wise, I just like to mess around with my friends and go on quests and raid stuff. Top tier pillaging.

I have played many multiplayer-enhanced games, but wow this one is super reliant on it. I like the little dancing monkeys and birds, but the gameplay off the ship (and honestly even on the ship sometimes) is not very fun to me.
Pretty fun so far, It just came to PS5 so I've been able to play it. A blast with friends! The art style is super cool too.

De los mejores juegos para estar de chill o jugar con amigos tranquilamente. Divertido y súper bien diseñado para fomentar la cooperación. Lo único que le falta es la capacidad de hacer servers pacíficos, los tryhards arruinan la experiencia

the combat is dead its so bad there no point in using a sword like cmon u r a pirate not a ww2 soldier
the game gets boring really fast like really fast
but yk what's fun attacking other players
soo should you buy sea of thieves
yes; if u got at least 1 friend who will accompany ur ass
no; if u dont /get bored easily
im feeling a very repetitive 6/10 (or maybe im hatin on my boy jack sparrow idk give it a try if u have friends you prolly dont so yea unlucky )
