I didn't mind this game. There were difficulties I had along the way while playing it from random quality of life things. Still decently fun. Especially with friends.

lots of super fun stuff here, love the way it looks and the weapons and crafting are cool and exploration is very fun. just wish the story wasn't so forced to be linear, and wish there were more fleshed out mechanics in some areas
Overhated, but I am also baffled how these guys pretty concretely had a lot of unpaid labor from beginning devs and they never really apologized or made amends and they just keep trucking

it’s a retro style space survival game. It just needs a big time investment and I didn’t have the desire to invest. I might go back to it at some point and give it another shot.
It has really, really good art. But the gameplay for me was running around, stealing EVERYTHING because the weapons and ore you get in crates are absolutely ridiculous. I don't think I went underground the entirety of my playthrough (other than the beginning): I was just a bandit from the jump. Long story short, play this game with mods. This game is WAY worse without mods to help it out.
Didn't hold my attention. It looks like Terraria but is far from the Terraria experience.
imagine ordering the most delicious salad you could possibly think of at a restaurant. you get to watch each stage of it being made, even getting chances to taste test it at various stages of its development. it's basically perfect, except when it's ready, it goes to a completely different table, and the salad you get is just Ice Soup. just the most bland, tasteless thing imaginable. it's even a little warm so the ice is already melting, leaving you with nothing but a bowl of water.

I still play it from time to time. Felt like it had a lot of hype it didn’t live up to. A lot better to play with friends too.

I could not get into this game no matter how hard I tried
Mekanikler berbat, bosslar aşırı kötü, olduğu yerde duruyor, vuruyor. Çok basit haraket dizinimi var. Birçok yaratık da aynı şekilde tek düze haraketle bize saldırıyorlar. Bu da sıkıyor. Oyun her ne kadar başlangıçta eğlenceli olsa da belli bir süreden sonra fazlasıyla tekrara düşüyor, silahlar bile birbirinin kopyası. Dünyalarda aynı şekilde. Hikaye desen ilgi çekici değil. Zevk almamın sebebi de teması ve yakınım ile oynamam. Tek başıma oynadığım zamanlar uzun süre katlanamadan bırakmıştım oyunu... Güncelleme desteğini kesmeseler ve günümüze kadar sürekli oyunu yenileseler kim bilir ne kadar iyi olurdu. Bir ara modlu denemek lazım.
I personally like Starbound a lot more than other games like Terraria. The ability to jump to near infinite planets makes the finite resources a thing of the past, and also the Glitch, Florans, and Novakids are some of my favorite science fiction races of all time.
