the con streetpass scene was fuckin bumpin. i met so many people thru this lil nothing 3DS feature. it was fun and i loved the lil games i could put my lil dudes thru and all the puzzle pieces i had to get and i have absolutely nothing to show for it now 🥲

thank you netpass for making this actually playable again, i've been having a blast.

I recently popped this open for the first time in like 7 years, and man was that a hit of nostalgia. Back before we were all interconnected with smartphones... I had StreetPass. I loved carrying my 3DS everywhere and StreetPassing my friends and random strangers. The minigames were decent enough to want to proceed with them, but some of the DLC minigames were actually quite good, if a bit much to keep up with consistently.

if you have streetpass enabled but have the mii plaza disabled, you need to die

Find Mii, Market Crashers, the fishing one, and the space one are really good. The rest are eh, take em or leave em.

Such a cool social feature. Actually utilizes the handheld nature of the 3ds for something interesting.
While the later minigames became much more f2p-like, the earlier ones were quite memorable - Streetpass Quest and the puzzle game specifically.
It's a bummer that they didn't continue this with the Switch :(

WE'VE MET 2 TIMES NOW!
The closest thing to friendship I had as a kid lol

I somehow streetpass someone the other day when playing monster hunter in the subway lol

Miyamoto came to my fucking plaza, it was so fucking awesome

Collection of mini-games, lots of character and lots of mileage out of the Miis. Had a good bit of fun playing some of these after getting the very rare Streetpass these days. Highlights that I spent my Play Coins on: Monster Manor, Mii Trek, and Warrior's Way.

I'd much rather pay for my stuff using Play Coins as opposed to cryptocurrency, tbh.

To put this anywhere under 5 stars just wouldn't make sense honestly. This was the main feature of the 3DS and it was incredible in the amount of content and games it had. I spent hours in each one, taking my 3DS absolutely everywhere to get more StreetPass hits to make a little more progress in each of the games which themselves were all great. I maxed out many of the puzzles, made several full rotations in both Find Mii and Find Mii 2, Mii Force was great, Flower Town was great, and all the others as well. A really unforgettable piece of the 3DS's soul

Really missed those times when StreetPass was super cool to have active on daily commutes and conventions.

when you were a kid if you weren't hype as fuck when you saw that green light go off and start blinking on your 3ds im sorry i dont think we can be friends

This is such an ingenious idea that I almost want to give it 5 stars, but I feel like the quality of the minigames is sort of a whiplash considering that ultimate angler, battleground z, and puzzle swap are the only ones I find myself playing through whenever I use netpass. Still, this needs to return on a Nintendo handheld someday!

Being a Midwestern 3DS owner was rough as a kid; while it was common to pass by someone else with StreetPass in more populated areas, good luck finding lots of them across endless fields of corn and soybean fields.

I opened StreetPass fairly regularly, and for a while, had a short collection of Miis. Though, after toggling some setting and thinking nothing of it, I ended up accidentally importing a ton of unwanted Miis from playing Mario Kart 7 online, and you can't utilize them in Puzzle Swap or Find Mii, so they're practically useless. Since my 3DS is now in my sister's possession, I will not be returning to this one

I looooved a lot of these games, especially puzzle swap, flower town, and monster manor. A great way to encourage you to carry your 3DS around with you everywhere

unironically one of the most exciting, innovative, and ahead of its time games I've had the pleasure of playing

Streetpass was a great feature

No hate, forgot it was a feature

BRING IT BACKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK

makin my way down down, walkin fast, streets pass and i'm homebound

Me and my cousin were told to play outside so we took our 3DSs to the park and ran around trying to get the steps to unlock more of the puzzles and trade each other. Fun lil app, miss it.

one of the best little features of the 3ds.... why didnt the switch have this.......

One of the 3ds's best features as a console. the games lacked a lot of depth, but the fact that you got them for free, and teh way they made you interact with people, was something truly innovative that should have been brought back.
