Game direction was its biggest flaw. In my opinion it didn't really fuse the working and horror element together like I hoped it would. Besides that, it does nail those scary stalker moments well.

They turned my job into a bad horror game.

Didn't like the ending in this one.

The game tells the story of stalker incidents that you can often see in many places in the world, which are relatively more common in Japan.

There's nothing scary about the game, except for a few ridiculously made jumpscares, it's more ambient reactionary. These "ridiculous" jumpscares are actually deliberately placed to make you expect another jumpscare and make you more nervous. What makes the game scary is that there is nothing strange about what happens. There are no supernatural elements, nothing exaggerated or unbelievable. It's just a simple case of a stalker, but it manages to make you nervous enough.

As for the gameplay, you're making coffee. If they elaborate on this part of the game and make another simulation game, it could be very interesting. The only problem with the gameplay is that the endings you can achieve are described with a text, it would be nice if it was all visual.

So basicly, if u like playing horror games and dont have a trauma about stalking, you can give a chance to it

its a good game, takes 2 hours max to play and shows the issue with stalkers
from my personal experience, the game had gotten me a few times with its scariness but during the cafe shift it can be very peaceful to just sit there and make coffee as long as nothing happens that day

Interesting. My first Chilla's art game and it's gotten me feel strange.
Game's not that scary but reminds me the style of Fears to Fathom. Where it makes you feel uncomfortable and creeped out for sure.
Also I'm applying for Barista jobs after this

its good but the setting and the ending didnt click with me :/

The real horror is having to work in a coffee shop.

ambientação muita boa, controles ruins mas melhores que os os outros jogos, eu realmente gostei do sistema de fazer café jogo, e é um terror bem competente, me assustou, embora que eu seja medroso.

tem umas queda de fps bem paia

Genuinely scared the fuck out of me. The coffee-making controls are just okay, but it's a compact, slow-building nightmare.

Spoilers below for the endings kinda

Yeah stalkers are scary, but do you know what's scarier? This game's frame drops /s

Okay I'm joking, but my only/main complaint with this is the serious performance issues I faced in my play-through. One of the worst frame rate drops I've ever seen at the recommended resolution, and I only managed to get it properly working/playable at one of the lowest resolutions available. Maybe it's just my PC being a pain, but if that bothers you or ruins the experience for you, then I would not recommend this based on my experience.

Besides that, everything else was great and I loved how this game played out through the dialogue and atmosphere. Additionally, I really like how there's no 'good' ending in this game, as all the endings result in death. This game's events is unfortunately a serious reality for many women and more often than not don't end pretty, so I respect the developers for portraying it as such. If you enjoy horror games that don't necessarily rely on supernatural elements and don't mind playing at a lower resolution, then definitely check this one out.

I give it 4 stars just because i loved making the coffees so much.

korkunç değil muhtemelen oyunun yapmaya çalıştığı şey bu da değil neyse

the good parts are good but the barista sim stuff got really annoying after like the 2nd time and it takes up such a huge portion of the game.

‣ Thoughts: The Closing Shift provides a rather simple horror game experience. You make coffee and there’s not much else. You don’t get jump scared every two minutes, you don’t get attacked, you don’t get followed across rooms, or do you? The story here slowly builds up until it all explodes in your face, and you must deal with it fast. Without spoiling much, it gets creepy fast and making coffee here is fun. This is one of those games that is best experienced without expectations or ideas planted in your head by others. Go in blind and see for yourself if you like it. However, this is a small game, short and janky, but that does not break it. Last thing I would like to mention is the art style. The game looks like a VHS tape recording which gives it a unique and creepy feeling it needs.

This game simulated what a REAL panic attack feels like
(Making coffee as a ominous timer counts down to my stalker ending my life.))

Just like NESCAFE 2 In 1. This is a 2 In 1 game: coffee coffee-making simulator and a horror game.

While the coffee-making bit gets somewhat irritating at times, the horror aspect of the game is great. It gives off a really well-done uneasy feeling to its atmosphere.
