I might only have a few minutes of Sims 3 on Steam, but that's just because I bought the base game to get the rest of the EPs I was missing in Origin at a lower price.

I started to play this game sometime after its release, I spent hours and hours playing it and buying EPs and Accessory Packs with time. I still play this game sometimes, but only through Origin since I have all the EPs there. It was the best The Sims ever made with its large possibilities, even with all the bugs. The Sims 4 was a pure disaster.

probably the one the sims i have more hours on, despite being my second favorite after the 2. It didn't have the crazy and incredible npcs with weird backstories that the sims 2 had but it improved enormously everything else. The fact that it doesn't have any load screen really is in favor for the good rating of this game. You really felt like you could go anywhere, just ringing a door bell, like in real life. Wish the sims 4 was still like this.

yes i have to download a fuckton of things to make it work mostly fine on pc BUT as someone who's never played 3 until now and had been playing sims 4 for the last 5+ years this game is absolute insanity (affectionate)

i KNOW the optimization is horrible but it's genuinely really fun . >>> sims 4

This is the version of Sims I have played more than any other. What first started as a fun game to backseat and share with childhood friends became an obsession as I got my own copies to play on my home computer, Xbox 360, and eventually my own laptop. The open world is to this day one of my favourite parts about it.

Best features... create-a-style and open world.

younger myah didn’t appreciate this.

Es muy único y está muy guay. Es mucho menos claustrofóbico que los demás. Lo peor sin duda son los gráficos y el diseño de sims, que parecen muñecos de barro.

This game pushed live simulation games so high that it's creators couldn't even keep up. Beautiful worlds, a fun character creator, a surprisingly deep gameplay loop and so much freedom all combines into a game still revolutionary to this day. Now that performances aren't a big issue with modern computers, I can't rate it lower than five stars.

MELHOR JOGO DA FRANQUIA.

this and 2 are so peak i just wish it had sims 4 customization

I would call this the best Sims game but it has so many performance issues that it can be a lot to deal with, especially on modern PCs (the better your PC the worse it is, yes really). But if you can get past that it can be some of the most addicting gameplay you will find.

Arguably one of my favourite memories out of gaming has been with The Sims 3. You see, when The Sims 2 was in its prime, I was a child. A child with concerns that were few and far between. A life that was simple and self-centered in maximizing my own enjoyment every single day. But as I got into The SIms 3, I was an adult. An adult who could no longer experience life as something I had full control over of. As an adult, I had to worry about my financial stability, maintaining my relationships with my social circles and depression. I'm sure that for many of us who have battled with our mental health, The Sims 3 probably was that game you sought out for comfort and serenity. There's so much content to even the base game, forget the expansions; Listen, if you really like the game, you'll buy the expansions. It's not a feeling of 'oh they're strong arming me into purchasing more content' as it is with the sequel. It's more so that, you feel that the game is already good enough as it is, and you can have some more, if you want. It's just such a beautiful game that looks at life and the limitless options of what roads a person can take. It doesn't restrict you from fulfilling your desires. The base game is a great entry point to the franchise if this is the type of game for your mental needs. I find myself always returning to The Sims 3, if I feel at a loss in life. After each time, while it's no magic trick, I can honestly say that I feel more at ease, in my own mind. A beautiful work of art, that to me, will probably never get old enough to where I can no longer enjoy it. I say this with all the love.

how good could it have been between us maxis...

its a shitty game but its also everything to me

This game is my entire childhood. I have such good memories playing it and I hope it won't ever stop making me happy ♥

The best Sims-game, even though Sims 2 stays in my heart.

Did you guys know, when get abducted by alien after looking telecope you get pergmant? this is freaky... baby alien come out and is blue and have strange face...

Stole various ancient egyptians artifacts, cars and electronic equipments by choosing the "bad" cleptomaniac trait. A burglar broke into my home, i followed him to the street and stole his belongings. But that's ok as i told the officer it was all an accident.

best sims game hands down. bring back the color wheel.

great game, maybe the weirdest in the franchise but that is it's charm for me
I played this on pc and xbox, but mostly xbox
also once when I was playing it on xbox, a fucking power transformer exploded on my street and the power was out for like 1/2 days and the internet for like a week. AND i lost my fucking xbox because of that explosion

les émotions en repensant aux souvenirs sur ce jeu, avant que origin/ea découvrent les dlc mdr

A really good life simulation game.
Fun to play!

I could spent lifetime in this game.
