i remember when this game first was announced i didnt care about it at all but i realized i owned like 3 games on switch and this was the next big release so i got it and actually found it to be pretty fun, and i will say the game's overall style and character designs are pretty solid overall. then i played this games ranked mode and stopped having fun. this isnt on some scrubquotes shit but at a point you pretty much had to play on stick or else you were just throwing. the cool gimmick of playing with two joycons was essentially a debuff. i think from the point onward playing the game with stick, the level of fun just depreciated and i stopped liking the game because the arms shit got too serious and it was never meant to be played that way and it just made the game boring. not even the content updates with new chatacters could bring me back. also i remember single player content just being arcade mode stories for each character and after that was done all you had was playing online. i cant remember if there was actually more to it than that but thats just how i remember it since i ended up trading this game with a friend for his copy of wonderful 101 in like 2018. i still havent even played wonderful 101 yet but i feel like i made a good trade

My brother and I spent a whole night playing this. Core memory.

would be good if it got popular.

Love picking up this game and playing it every now and then

Unique fun idea, boring afterwhile

fun concept, fun soundtrack, some fun memories on this one. wish they did more with it cause it was great, the game play just got repetitive quickly. the character designs were awesome and i still listen to some of the soundtrack today. i played with controller instead of motion controls unlike somebody i know.

simple fighting game with not enough content

I sometimes forget that I played this back when it launched.

It was decent, but I fell off of it really quick. It felt like it lacked (and I often bring this up with certain media) that unexplainable “something.” It lacked a hook (no pun intended).

Super underrated! How did they greenlight a sequel to 1-2-Switch before ARMS???

I don't know why Nintendo put a demo out for this game. After playing arms for 10 minutes, nobody is gonna spend $60 to keep playing. I might've spent $60 to stop playing. It is that boring.

The second game I ever played on the Switch. It died pretty fast - mostly because there isn't a whole lot you can do. It was fun for a while, though

I didn't play much of it... Sorry, Nintendo. ;_;

I was excited for this game in 2017 and had some fun with it, but realistically there's not nearly enough content to justify a $60 price tag

Good game. I think people hate on it too much.

Fun for 30 minutes. It's just punch. Cool game that shows ONE THING that the Switch can do.

There's potential here and a lot of the character designs were stellar (I popped off as much as anyone when Min-Min came over to a game people actually play), it just needed more refinement. Shame the IP seems to be abandoned going forward (I'd happily be proven wrong but...)

I kid you not I bought this game off a guy I go to school with for $2 and a twinkie, so for that price I'd say its worth it. This game however, doesn't have much content so unless your playing against your friends or want to grind out multiplayer I wouldn't say its worth it. The game also no longer gets any updates, so at this point it just serves as a tech demo for the switch's motion control feature.

boring after 3/4 hours in total

It happens. Not a full game but a quality one. I really like the characters and music and art and world building but the gameplay loop gets stale REAL fast. It could be improved upon in a sequel.

waste of my motherfucking money!!

A game with a fun concept that just gets old too fast due to an egregious lack of content.

Lot of charm, but the spirit temple boss fight in totk was better
