shitty combat but the world still holds up

The first of a wonderful triology, the enviroment, storytelling and combat is good in almost every aspect.

I was pretty lukewarm on this back in 2007. I remember picking this up right after I saw Superbad in theaters with my pops. I see why this game is so highly regarded, though my COD brained teenage self couldn't see this

Merece uma nova oportunidade.

Under the water you find yourself in a structure that questions your own sanity. At every turn is an enemy ready to gut you and cut your journey short. The plot, world design, characters, enemies and simple FPS gameplay is a nice welcome to traditional gamers who just want a fun time. Rating: 7/10

Never understand why is this loved this much but still it was a very nice experience

A classic game with a unique grim setting and a godlike story. Would you kindly play Bioshock?

A man chooses, a slave obeys.

A masterpiece in videogame storytelling. A great mix of FPS with a RPG elements. The visuals are still solid and are held up with strong art direction. Voice acting is some of the best in gaming and is complemented with excellent writing. Any problems I may have with the game would only be nit-picks.

No Gods or Kings. Only Man.

BioShock captures Video Games as a medium and tells a story which wouldn't work in a book, movie, or anything else. To experience the story, one can simply play the main story from start to finish, but to understand it, one must explore, pay attention to all the details in the environment, hear out the audio logs, and consider the consequences of ones actions.

For a game that released in 2007, this game holds up incredibly well, and the gloomy atmosphere still looks good to this day.

hard even on normal, makes you count every bullet. Overall great game

Awesome game, with an impressive way looking architecture

Main review will be up on the remaster.

I didn't think it was possible to create a game with both the best opening and ending at the same time

Loved the setting and atmosphere but honestly the story that everyone raves about is pretty overrated. I could see the "plot twist" coming from a mile off.

Still a great game and I'm glad I played it, I just don't think it's the 10/10 masterpiece many people think it is.

bioshock is good. love a game that hates ayn rand

pretentious and stupid what is even the point of this game

Bioshock will be forever etched into the history books as a masterclass in video game storytelling.

3 Stars From David. Comes with David Seal of Approval
I have not played

Fun and interesting. BUT LOUDDD AS SHITTTTT…. Had me hallucinating noises for two days.

Best introduction and setting i've ever seen in a game
