Easily the worst fallout - story and rpg mechanics wise alone

not a good fallout game at all, but decent as an open world shooter with RPG mechanics

One of my favorite games of all time, but one I definitely needed to play on the right time. I've tried to play it twice before my first complete run, but it was on my forth run that Fallout 4 got me. But, my boy, it got me REALLY well!

There's a lot to hate about Fallout 4, but there's also a lot to love! Like Preston Garvey, I love that dude.

joguei mais de 60 horas nessa merda pro jogo simplesmente crashar em uma parte onde eu n consigo mais progredir, simplesmente TRAVOU a porra jogo de 2015
vai se fude. Fora isso o jogo eh bom pra caralho, joguei no Xbox One no lancamento e tentei voltar no Game Pass PC

this is probably the worst (mainline) Fallout game, but its ok I guess.

better when i was 11 but hey mods are really good on it

After playing New Vegas and 3 again, the issues with this one become obvious. Still a pretty sold game, but not a great Fallout game.

I can't hack this door and now i'm stuck

An enjoyable story but not amazing. The world had great qualities and the new additions of creating settlements was really enjoyable. Combat was always a bit clunky along with AI. However, the DLCs such as Nuka-World were very good, and its modding capabilities made it very replable

fallout 4 we kinda just threw shit at a wall

гойда! убить всех детей атома!

Way worse than Fallout: New Vegas but at least mods make the game way better and fun. Gameplay is better than New Vegas, too.

Game is underrated, has one of the best world designs I've ever seen in an rpg

While it is a very good game, there are a lot of missteps with this Fallout game. Combat is the best out of all of the 21st century fallout games. RPG elements seriously lacking, though. They really messed up the perk system and the skills have been entirely eliminated.

Competent but airless - there's so much stuff but you only moderately want to do some of it. Was really into it at the beginning (especially after that memorably bleak first level) but quickly afterwards felt like I was just waiting for it to end. The open world feels like an MMO that had its servers shut down, with mostly forgettable locations loosely cobbled together piecemeal with no real sense of oneness - a far cry from the deeply lived-in feel of Skyrim's maps. Unlike others I'm not completely against the watering-down/removal of the RPG elements and as per usual I don't give a shit about mods; but the main story as a whole feels like a rushed, tiresome exposition dump - the mother/father angle is so boring in this and the voiced protagonist adds nothing to the mix either. The stuff with the institute is beyond lame, BoS story feels like tedious fetch quests, Minutemen don't have enough exclusive missions to their arc. Etc. etc. Bethesda's endearing jank helps keep this diverting on a moment-to-moment basis - you can put a live frag grenade in a drug-addicted old lady's pocket while she's sleeping, kill a robot with pencil ammo, break the game six ways from Sunday and get to level 200 in an hour, all that jazz. But it feels less than stellar here even in the face of its objective evolution. IGN giving this their perfect 10 rating tells you all you need to know about it. Far Harbor 4ever.

It's ok, I keep trying to get back into this game but lose interest every time

moderately better than the 3D fallouts that come before it but still bethesda-tier garbage

If you're not looking for fnv then this is a good experience

It's an ok Fallout game, it doesn't live up to the great New Vegas or Fallout 3. Although it's better than 76, so you'll probably be left with a nostalgic feeling, and consider playing this one again. I'd only do it with mods if I go back now though. Basically the disappointing middle child, with much better and worse siblings.

boring but i 100%'d it so what's that say about me

Had a lot of fun with this one back in the day. Would probably still be fun if you had the right mods

While some criticize the game for deviating from the traditional RPG elements of the earlier Fallout titles, Fallout 4 still delivers an enjoyable experience with its immersive world, intriguing quests, and the freedom to make impactful choices that shape the wasteland.

Whether you're a fan of the Fallout series or new to the franchise, Fallout 4 provides a vast and engaging post-apocalyptic playground for you to explore, survive, and leave your mark on the world.

Also... fuck the repetitive Minutemen settlement quests.
