Historia boa pra um KH mas a gameplay é fraquinha

I never got far enough in my playthrough to get to the parts everyone seems to love about 358/2 Days.

Not the greatest gameplay, but pretty good for a DS game. Best story in the series.

I WOULD DEFEND THIS GAME WITH MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!111111 (help ive been stuck at the leechgrave boss for like 10 years. FUCK LEECHGRAVE FUCK LEECHGRAVE FUCK LEECHGRAVE. the gameplay in this makes me want to die. And yet the game is so much better than the cutscene collection. Like, seriously, the writing is really good. It gave me depression )

I watched the HD remake on the 1.5 release, and I'm sad this game didn't get the birth by sleep treatment. That being said, it doesn't seem like there's anything better than sea salt ice cream and the power of friendship.

only watched but roxas top 5 characters

heartwrenching story, mid to decent gameplay

the gameplay is a bit repetitive but that is only to the story's benefit, a lot is lost from just watching the movie!

I watched the movie version. It was pretty sad.

ok this is a weird one i gave 4 out of 5 cos mainly the story and how bloody good it was
but the gameplay itself was pretty poor
so yea it's a odd one i must admit
(just read the manga for it then playing it trust me)

I don't wanna hear it from anyone. This game showcases Nomura's talent at writing characters.

Such a sincere and relatable story about loneliness and purpose. Roxas is one of the greatest video game characters ever made. The entire game does an incredible job of pacing the development of his character and his relationships with the rest of the organization members. I used to be disappointed that this game didn't explore the rest of the organization more, but now I think it's intentionally brilliant how little we really know about them, because these people don't matter to Roxas. Axel, Xion, Saïx, and the collective entity of the organization are the only ones that are significant to his life, so it makes sense that those are the only ones explored. And the buildup and conclusion is stellar. I love reading Roxas' diary throughout the game, and his blowup at Axel is perfect, leading to not only an insane boss rush, but also to some of the most effective storytelling not only in the series but in the entire medium of video games.

Could've been better but compared to Recoded I at least liked the story being told here and the trio of Roxas, Xion, and Axel have great chemistry.

Best story in the series makes up for these games having (other than the mobile entries) also the worst gameplay.

Tragically the cutscene compilation on 1.5 doesn't do the story justice either, without the sort of slice-of-life feeling of playing the game proper you simply don't get the full impact. That said of course, while I wouldn't really call it a proper replacement for playing the game the manga gets a full and hearty recommendation

Pretty sad the gameplay is quite....rough on the edges, otherwise it would've easily be the best kingdom hearts game

>Pretty good graphics for a Nintendo DS game;
>The mission system is fun (never understood the complaint that missions were repetitive, all of the obligatory missions are short and pretty different from eachother);
>I love the panel system, it was so fun trying to figure out how to optimize my panel placement to have as many panels as possible;
>The bosses are meh. Ruler of the Sky & Leechgrave and Tentaclaws were both kinda annoying but nothing too bad;
>Amazing story with even better characters. Organization XIII is full of fun characters, I talked to them before every single mission on the hub, and talking to NPCs is something I very rarely do;
>I played this game on a 3DS so I didn't have to go through that, but I imagine that playing this game with only a D-Pad was not the most fun experience;
>Long playtimes made my hands hurt :(((.
This game has its flaws, but I don't care, it's an easy 10/10 for me, one of my favorite games of all time.

square enix if you remade this game i promise that people would finally realize that this is one of the best kingdom hearts games. free us from the horrible movie summary people think this game is.

Good story, horrible gameplay

everyone loves this game but i'm gonna be real, i really really did not like this one.

mostly what it boils down to is that i absolutely truly did not empathize with a single character in this game. it did absolutely nothing to endear any of the organization xiii members to me, and that's INCLUDING roxas, xion, and axel. i was really looking forward to this game, thinking it would expand my knowledge of some of the lesser-known organization members, but it sure did NOT do that.

the gameplay was also nearly impossible; despite being developed for ds, i actually had to play this on 3ds, because the circle pad was the only way i could progress through certain missions. (i'm recalling an aerial fight in particular that makes me want to rip my hair out...)

just an extremely frustrating experience trying to PLAY this game, on top of its characters and story that did not, at all, resonate with me. cool final boss though. like REALLY cool. probably one of my favorite final bosses ever.

Played the game up until day 300 then watched the movie.
gameplay is a 2/5
Story is 4/5

Gameplay doesn’t bother me much considering I played it on my non foldable 2ds. While it can be repetitive in terms of missions, Roxas’ story and little lines are heartbreaking to read. Highly recommend playing it alongside watching the cutscene movie as the story really is worth it.

i wish this wasnt on the ds

J'ai vu la version film du titre. Histoire triste mais cruciale pour comprendre la suite de l'univers

Legit one of the worst games I think I've ever played. It's a glorified side quest game, and the worst part of it all is that it's boring as crap.

Terrible level design, combat feels worse than every other game, and again, you do nothing but tedious side missions. All for a story that is actually pretty bad. Roxas and Axel are cool, but Xion is a waste of time honestly.

One more note: this game is one you can technically skip. Imagine this: in Kingdom Hearts 2, DDD, and 3, you get the gist of Roxas and Axel's friendship, and even why this was happening with Roxas. And with Xion, in DDD and 3, you learn everything you need to know about Xion. This game is literally not worth playing.

Skip this one. Please.

Please play this one, don't just watch the movie. Yeah the controls are clunky, but it's not hard to get used to them after a while and the whole story, with the diary sequence and everything, is much more realized here.

Incredible game that I didn't give the proper chance when it released.
