Mixing up different combinations and equipment slots to fit the mission at hand was a nice change of pace. Made each level-up feel that much more rewarding. Story was nothing special, graphics were decent. Lots of re-used areas from previous games and the overall missions got repetitive fast.

Honestly a pretty OK game about working a demoralizing dayjob for an incredibly shitty boss who doesn't care about you.

ta wapo por la nostalgia no se si me volveria a gustar tanto si lo juego ahora

I have only seen the cutscenes but kino

The story is so good and sad, but the gameplay is balls.

Kino story, mediocre gameplay and mission structure.

xion

the story is what saves this from having a dogshit rating. roxas xion and axel(before3) are top 3 characters

made me cry.
(just saw the movie tho)

This game has a great story with some of my favorite character writing in the series so far. It also has an awful mission structure, horribly designed bosses and enemies (emphasis on horrible), and it kinda feels like ass to play. Also the panel system sucks a lot.

Maybe it shouldn't have been on the fucking DS.

no game should have ever been made to be played on the original ds screen

The story is very good and sticks with you... but the game really isn't too fun to play. It needs an update really bad. Heads up don't play this as an eight-year-old with no knowledge of the series like I did, wild times

cool story, but the game's boring lol.

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days applied the Kingdom Hearts aesthetic to a mission-based format while documenting the bridge of events between KH1 and KH2. The game is as dull as the concept.

will forever defend this game from the hate it receives. outstanding story that actually made coherency of the otherwise nonsensical KH overarching narrative. gameplay could've been better but this thing being as functional (if fuck ugly) as it was in 2009 is worthy of praise by itself.

I feel like this game has the most unironically good story content in all of Kingdom Hearts, but it's really sparsely laid out in between extremely uninspired combat. Just watch the movie.

Just a warning: do NOT play on Proud. Actually don't even bother playing it, watch the KH1.5 movie, wastes less time. Story is like... alright. Good music but most of it is just reused from KH2. Great multiplayer concept that lets you play as a bunch of otherwise unplayable characters, but game plays like a vastly inferior KH1 so it doesn't even matter. Cool unique character progression system though. Still a turd tho.

One of the best KH stories, really fleshing out the characters. Shame about the atrocious gameplay and the movie thing just not being the same experience

This was my first KH game and boy was I confused. Looking back having played all the others its kind of a miracle I love the series and stayed with it. This game may be rough but it holds a special place in my heart and will always be a guilty pleasure.
Plus Vector to the Heavens is very Raw.

i actually think the ice cream line is good and impactful

Haven't finished but it's a p good game even though it's repetitive

My fav KH game. Extremely underrated, the mission system is really well done imo and the story is brilliant.

story good but gameplay ass

I almost named my second pet Roxas.

Great story makes up for hyper repetitive gameplay.
