Playing through this with my fiance. We're having a blast! It's great to go through a level or two as the night winds down.

Listen to this game's ost immediately it's so fire.

feels awesome for kirby's first truly 3d game. and he really needed it too, it's a fresh breath of air from the return to dreamland formula. super fun!!

A very fun kirby game, especially co-op

"size doesn't matter" STFU BIG SWORDDD

The first Kirby game in 3D feels a lot like any other Kirby game, and it's not my favorite, but it's very good

You have to get every Waddle Dee or they get tortured.

A lot of fun and a real looker on the Nintendo Switch.

loved the gameplay it just needed to be like 5-10 hours longer tbh

I have never played a Kirby game before, but hearing the praise for this game being a significant move in a new direction for the pink creature, I decided to pick it up. Most of this game is best thought of as a museum piece, and by those standards, there are many interesting sights to see, mechanics to explore, and secrets to discover. For most of the game, the main missions were fun only when I tried to complete them without using guides--they never presented any real challenge, but the clever ways the creators hid passageways throughout the diverse environments kept me looking in every corner. I have to admit I was disappointed to arrive at the sixth world after the fifth world gave hints that the game may be coming to an end. I was ready for that end. However, the final world, and especially the couple of boss rush levels at the end, were by far the most fun I had with the game as I got a final go with each of the game's mechanics. This game gets far more intense narratively and conceptually than it has any business being, and the colorful imagination for the major plot twists at the end was truly a sight to behold. Finally, I adored the final boss fight and the challenge it presented! I was not expecting to commit so hard to learning a boss' moveset in a Kirby game, but it was such a joy to die a few times until I could figure out the best tools for the battle. When all is said and done, I'm glad this was my first Kirby game.

A seamless transition to 3d for the pink puffball

One of my main complaints about other Kirby games is how Kirby usually feels kind of unwieldy to control in terms of his weight and responsiveness, especially compared to other platformer protagonists.

Forgotten Land easily, and I really do mean easily, has the best controlling Kirby in the franchise so far, and the buttery smooth control alone makes this a top 3 Kirby game in my eyes.

The level design, too, just speaks to me in a way I can’t really describe. Levels in this game are so smooth and well-paced that I don’t really mind that they are pretty much never that much of a challenge.

The finale also might be my favorite in the series. It’s not as bombastic as some other Kirby games but it fits my tastes to a tee.

I loved my time with this game, it was my intro to the Kirby franchise and now every other Kirby game is in my backlog. The time I spent completing it was well worth it.

I NEED TO FINISH THIS IM SO SORRY MY SON...

So fun, you just feel happy playing it

The first Kirby game I played through, it was sooooo good

it's not my favorite kirby game but it's still fantastic (i was too bad to beat the secret boss)

Modern Kirby games seem to struggle with differentiating themselves with a gimmick engaging enough to be worth playing, and this is absolutely a step in the right direction, however I feel its bit short of being the rejuvenation the series needed. Despite the inclusion of the 3rd axis, the way levels are designed aren't that different, secrets and collectibles are still laughably easy to obtain for the most part and there only a small handful of times where the 3D nature of the game adds to the discovery process. The new inhale mechanic and ability upgrades definitely add to the game massively

(Just made an account not sure when I beat this)

This is the first and only Kirby game I've played so far. It was a great introduction though and I can't wait to try out some more kirby games. Each level felt different from each other and I loved every single one of them. I'm not one to write overly long reviews so I wont, but this is a very solid game.

Absolute GEM of a game. So adorable and overflowing with charm at every turn. It's just sad that it's so short. 100% completed it with 35 hours playtime

This game's pure fun and even had a few little challenges to overcome, which is good for a Kirby game because the True Arena was way too easy again.

The level design was pretty good and the figurine lore for the secret bosses was really nice.

Cute! Fun! I'll be back to it. Maybe.
