You really just can't do better than this for a co-op party game. Even a few bad maps (6-2, and some of the Carnival of Chaos maps) don't hold this game back from being literally the best co-op party game I can think of. If you care about 100% achievements, which unfortunately I do, some of the achievements are completely unhinged, but it doesn't really detract from the game experience as a whole.

Very fun game to play with your friends, my only real issue is how levels kinda spike in difficulty very randomly, it sucks to be cruising through at one point only to reach (what at the time) was a somewhat impossible level. It's not going to change your life or really impact you on any level, but if you got 2-3 friends willing to play with you it's a blast for a good while.

‣ 7/10 – Calmest kitchen in Ohio. (I’m sorry)
‣ Thoughts: Overcooked 2 is a cute and fun game that takes something relaxing and makes it the most chaotic experience of your life. Usually, cooking is calm and enjoyable, however here you are on a time limit, and you must perform well enough to pass the level. You can enter the kitchen gauntlet alone or invite up to 4 people. Playing this with friends feels like the definitive way to go and that also adds another layer of chaos to the food preparations. You must coordinate successfully to make sure the “chefs” are doing separate things that create one cohesive dish or else it all falls apart and you become overwhelmed to the point of no return. The game loop here is simple, however, doing it in the right order becomes tricky quickly. The moment you think that you’ve mastered all the game has to offer they throw a new dish at you. Have you perfected burritos? Great here’s pizzas with sausages on top good luck! Overall, Overcooked 2 is a really thrilling and exciting game to play with your friends on a Friday night, however, it has some flaws. The first few hours will be a blast, but the deeper you go the more repetitive and overcomplicated it gets. Some levels will be straightforward and some completely bizarre where you will spend precious time waiting for a platform to go down or a table to rotate. I found these level additions more tedious than challenging but maybe that’s just me being too nitpicky.

So I've never played the first one but I definetely enjoyed this one. At first it seems kind of repetitive, childish boring but whenever you start hardcoring the levels it gets pretty good. There's four of you, one does that, other that, the other gets mad for doing the wrong thing. Gets pretty good for sure!
