The worst videogame I've ever played in my entire life. A hard to endure abomination that assassinates every single aspect of the original trilogy, as well as Phoenix Wright's character, and top of it, every single case has critical problems in logic, with the highlight being Turnabout Succession, a case that only works because someone who was stripped from his badge managed to not only somehow manipulate the entire judicial system of the country, but also infiltrate a solitary confinement cell and because a little girl didn't tell her dad about a poison danger in 7 years.

But if you don't want to read all of it, which I fully understand, it esentially takes nearly every possible wrong design decision they could've made, on top of it being a complete misunderstanding of the philosophies this franchise has been built upon for years. Just a miserable experience. If you're looking for a fun Sonic experience, avoid Sonic Forces at all costs.

Easily the best 2D Sonic game, with the most polished combination of speed and exploration, and the fact that every act is completely unique and despite that, the transitions feel seemless, as well as the incredible additions that are the elemental shields and Knuckles the Echidna that offer a brand new way to experience the stages, I see little room for doubt that is the best sidescroller I've ever played.
