Lo tengo más que platinado, fuí del top del primer grand prix
Por qué la gente juega la mierda esa de Mario kart 8? Si existe esta obra maestra

the perfect remaster for any gamer who's ever said "man, i like crash team racing, but i wish i could count the individual hairs on crash bandicoot's ass!"

Near perfection: slick driving; creative tracks; hidden nuance; practically a remake of two games; hilarious skins; and a fun character selection that's clearly the result of the some super deep dives into the recesses of the Crash Wiki.

My main problem is how the unlocks are handled - only cosmetic things being unlockable is very good, and the special unlocks are all fair but challenging, but the Pit Stop system is tedious and there's no gaurantee that future players will be able to legitimately access the DLC characters. Some other minor complains are some iffy 90s stereotyping that only got semi-addressed, kart engine balancing being non-existant, and a small few dud tracks.

Está divertido, pero siento que no lo es como el original x'd

The best racing game ever made: Nitro Fueled

generally have a well-earned distaste for video game remakes, especially with how N. Sane Trilogy turned out. unlike that game, this game is pretty and the music isn't butchered. in fact, it's better than the original and one of my favorite games ever.

Beenox was smart. they knew that Naughty Dog already made the greatest kart racer of all time. what can they do? copy the tight controls, except make it faster and add more stuff. Beenox further developed mechanics like u-turning and blue flame, allowing you to use both with less restrictions. it makes the game fast as hell, while still feeling like you have complete control.

the tracks and roster are both great, and do something I wish more remakes would do: use the good from the bad in the good. sorry for the stroke. what I mean is, take characters or tracks from less than good Crash games and put them in a good game. they did this perfectly, reaching across Crash's entire (except Twinsanity) history. finally, I can play Nitro Kart tracks without falling asleep

there are definite issues: Activision are greedy little piggies that added microtransactions to buy inflated cosmetics, 30fps, and long load times being the big ones. playing on Switch emulator is the best option and fixes the former two, but sadly the load times still suck, some textures are N64 level shit, there's minor emulator bugs, and obviously there's no online. one day my endless prayers for a PC port will be answered.

they even added the placeholder line accidentally left in the original by having the character voice it himself!! that’s so cool! this game rules!!

"Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled" serves as a fantastic remaster, seamlessly combining tracks and characters from both "Crash Team Racing" and "Crash Nitro Kart" into one exhilarating package. The game offers a vast amount of content and customization options, spanning multiple series of the Crash Bandicoot universe. The driving mechanics have been improved while still maintaining the essence of the original, providing a satisfying and nostalgic experience for fans. Multiplayer modes are a blast, offering hours of fun, but the online experience on the Nintendo Switch is disappointingly lacking. Furthermore, the game runs at only 30 frames per second on the Switch, compared to other consoles. Despite these drawbacks, "Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled" remains a beloved Mario Kart alternative, delivering thrills and nostalgia in equal measure.

It's a downgrade for time trials but a massive upgrade for multiplayer, simply because 15 FPS isn't very good.

a Fair remake. Exactly how i thought it looked in og.

Don't fix what isn't broke.

Nitro-Fueled understood what needed to be done bringing CTR to modern consoles; really not that much. It nails the feel of the original PS1 title and adds flare and the current gen graphics, makes some of the trickier aspects like drift-boosting a little easier to read, but by and large this is the same PS1 CD-R with a fresh gleam of paint and a Blu-Ray disc. It slathers on an extra helping of Nitro Kart levels, whcih was a fun new experience for me and many people because who the hell played Nitro Kart.

Having the option to play the Legacy Music was also a nice touch, I almost wish Legacy Voice Lines would be available too for that extra kick of nostalgia, but it's a moot point when you have one of the greatest kart racers here.

It gets 9 stars rather than 10 because of it's pissy little microtransactions, sure you can get everything without paying but I'd rather it not be there in the first place. Also Baby Crash/Coco/Cortex freak me out.

A fun racing game with wacky characters. It has more depth than Mario Kart but I find that the characters have less charm than they did in the PS1/PS2 era. I'm not as interested in these characters as compared to Mario Kart and the items in this game are less interesting too. The story mode in terms of narrative is nothing to write home about, essentially the bare minimum to justify the Kart theme of the game. Overall though it is a very competent kart racing game and if you're looking for a more skill-based, more in-depth kart racer than Mario Kart I would suggest this game. (The people who play online are really good.)

One of the slickest games I've ever played

The most addictive racing game. Where is the PC port?

If it had cross-play and a PC version. It would've been peak.

Es un juegazo de principio a fin, hace honor como remake de la versión de PS2.

The best Crash Bandicoot game,
and the greatest kart racer.

Good remake. It exactly felt like the og ctr woth additional features and skins. But i cant give a 5 star because the loading screen is too long and feel so annoying :(

I love all the new tracks and characters, and the reverence they had for the legacy content and 1999 game. With over 250 hours and counting, it's a rec from me. Coming back to it every once and awhile in an attempt to unlock some new customizations and complete some challenges.

Absolutely adored the original and this one is just as good if not better. The mechanics are definitely different which took some getting used to but being able to extend blue flame makes it all worth it. The visual upgrade is nice and they really nailed the feeling of going fast, I'm not sure if you actually move faster in the remake but it sure felt like it. The new graphics do reduce visual clarity on some tracks, like Hot Air Skyway having this fog that make its harder to see the upcoming track, but overall it was a pleasure to look at. Awful microtransactions aside, a great remaster.
