What can you say, it's a platforming game where the platforming sucks.

She goes Naughty on my Dog till i hate uncharted so much i for real just cannot i swear

pretty cool game, along with the fact that the game has LITTLE TO NO LOADING SCREENS

almost went for 100% but decided to drop it

One of my favorite games but not without its flaws. I love the overall world and goofy characters of Jak & Daxter but it some terrible platforming mechanics.

Pretty good 3D platformer about a man and a weasel-man jumping around on things.

one of my favorite series oat

100%'d this within 3 days out of a dare and honestly was one of the smoothest experiences ive had in my life (aside from like 2 levels). From the movement to the 100%ing process its just an absolute delight.

Played on OpenGOAL

Wasn't sure what to expect but I had a blast with this. OpenGOAL is truly a testament to modern day modders since they were able to reverse engineer the game engine and make it playable in up to 4k and 144hz! Playing these older games with no loading screen is a MASSIVE step up.

All in all the J&D world is lively, full of character, with good (perhaps not so memorable) music, fun repeatable mechanics, and very solid level design.

Definitely looking forward to playing the sequels

É legal mas claramente ele sofre dos problemas de ser um jogo de plataforma do início dos anos 2000

My goal is to earn the platinum trophy each time they re-release this game on a new console.

Really fun game, really easy to complete and doesn't overstay its welcome. I only wish the other games in this series stayed a little closer to this one instead of taking an edgier approach. Oh well.

This game was my absolute favorite growing up, and the first game that I ever completed 100%. The gameplay is incredibly fun and snappy and Jak is so fun to control.

Great for PS2 standards and surprising to adknowledge it's a collectathon unlike the sequels from what I've been told.

It feels nostalgic since I remember trying this one back in 2005.

I get the charm of it but not quite for me. also getting the plat was a bitch

Um jogo de plataforma que faz jus, gostoso de jogar, e rápido de finalizar, a empresa deixou a gameplay semelhante ao que fez com crash o que me deixa satisfeito.

Game is so good for the first two-thirds then falls off hard once you get to the Volcanic Crater. I can replay this game up to that point endlessly.

Sorry, I'm not playing three games' worth of this kiddie shit. I only play badass games where you use guns and kill people so miss me with that "platformer that fades into obscurity until an unreasonable amount of people want the main character in Smash" garbage.

Played this after Jak 2 Renegade, was expecting a bit more. Ended up beating the whole game in about 5 hours and going "Okay" at the end.

If you've played one of the many 3D Platformers from back in the 90s, well, it's exactly like that, only difference is that this one doesn't have a level select screen and you'll have to journey your way through the world (thankfully there are some conveniently placed Teleports every now and then).

Honestly it feels like this seamless world mechanic was the whole focus of the game, which is quite pointless when you realize it adds nothing, mechanically speaking. The whole Colored Eco powers while cool and somewhat contextualized in lore, also don't really offer anything new or groundbreaking you haven't seen in any other 3D Platformer game from yesteryear.

Personally you may want to play this just so you know what happens in the much better sequel.

the first Video Game i ever finished

Game rocks. Feels like a great addition to the collectathon platformers.

Lo gracioso que es que este juego sea el Banjo y Kazooie de PS

Divertido. De los pocos juegos que platiné, por algún motivo.

This cleared the original Ratchet and Clank tbh

grew up with this game as a kid and i though it was so crazy you could go anywhere you want without 'any loading screens' very fun

the most revolutionary open-world 3d platformer ever holy crap jak and daxter is so cool, the speedrun is a lot of fun too great movement even though it feels slippery at first

El puto Diego de mierda va y me dice que los primeros niveles son pico mientras que los últimos son carbón y desde entonces no paro de verlo te voy a matar Silvers.

Really solid platformer and neat that the entire world is connected (even given some obvious loading zones). Very much the spiritual successor of the Rare-era collecta-thons (alongside Sly Cooper, also on the PS2), but the movement is really fluid and fun to play. Pretty much every area is attractive to look at and Daxter's commentary mostly doesn't get old.
