very cute game! i played about 33 hours, with lots of lallygagging with cult management. i would get annoyed tf with the people needing to eat, but otherwise, felt manageable with dungeons. i focused more of cult management to maxed out early, making things 10x easier. demonic circle is a god send, & does NOT kill your members :)
for the boss, i had to lower difficulty from medium to easy. it just felt 100x harder than the “boss” fights (each god) before then. >:/ which lowers my rating. it was so frustrating then on easy it felt like i barely had to try .
when i first bought the game (august 2022), i didn’t like it. in august 2023, especially with their (what i assume came from) updates, it is much more enjoyable.
need to play post-credit (seems interesting/developed!), so will prob update this with that! also want to replay with strategy lol

for context, got on sale for approx $9. when doing all endings, i'd estimate it'd end up costing $1 per hour of gameplay. which isn't so bad!
very interesting game, like the premise & story. however, a very tedious game at times. even when keeping on top of organizing plants, the extensive amount got to be a lot. especially when a lot of plants were one time use. the game has multiple endings- something i will need to come back to- which is cool. the plants and art is def cool as well!
the puzzles were good. some def were too difficult to me, so if you're not the best, use the hint button lol.
just the amount of plants and no way to know which to put up, constant reorganizing, searching for specific plants, etc was a lot and drags the score down for me.
