Claire and Barry are back, what more do you need? Honestly a huge improvement over the first game, though it still has some issues with character writing (Claire feels out of character to me, Barry's perfect though). Way more puzzles and a slower pace that makes it feel much more like the classic REs, while also having great gunplay that's infinitely better than REv1.
Played in co-op, once again. In this game, unlike RE5 and RE6, the partner character is very... unique. Moira doesn't use guns and Natalia is literally a child who can "sense" where enemies are. They both can also point at shinies to discover hidden items, which is a better take on the first game's Genesis (at least in co-op, where you don't have to switch characters). These asymmetric abilities made the campaign pretty interesting to co-op through, specially collectibles hunting as each character has their own collectibles basically.
I honestly don't have anything big to complain about with this one. Maybe the fact that it's a lot easier to get the bad ending than the good ending.
