FDS Games I've Played

An interesting system with games not many in the US have played including myself.

A fun top down action game that can be pretty damn hard. One of the earlier FDS games. Not for everyone but is worth a look.
Levels that can focus on verticality or even labyrinth like design makes this game stick out. It even has some hidden mechanics for you to learn to get stronger. It can be challenging but is a fun game by Nintendo (and maybe TOSE?). This would get an NES version but the FDS version has differences and even has a fan translation if you need it.
A licensed game based off an event. It's so similar to Mario that it eventually became a Mario game. It's very good but some things would be improved in Super Mario USA that it's nowadays more of a footnote in gaming.
A fan translation does exist but the game is beatable without knowing japanese.
A very challenging action game with some stiff controls for you to master. Many sub weapons and 6 levels that are pretty well designed with some cool enemy designs and patterns. Was one of the most beautiful looking games for the time. This has an NES version that removed the saving.
A sequel to Twinbee with 3 player multiplayer and even features horizontal levels that aren't as good as you would expect. One of the weaker Twinbee games but still worth a look. This has a US release on NES but lacks 3-player mode and opening cutscene. There was a cartridge release in Japan in 1993 that added an easy mode.

A pretty popular shmup by Compile with a lot of weapons with limited use and lot's of challenges and stages to conquer. The good graphics and music will keep you playing this one.
An okish attempt of having a 3D like game on the FDS. Also has bosses that feel taken out of the Arcade Space Harrier. It's a bit too frustrating and repetitive at times for it to be a game worth going back to but it's not bad.
A text adventure game that's not too interesting or notable outside of a few things like the infamous lie written in a magazine about the game. It's not a long game so it might not hurt to try it but be prepared for lots of loading.
A fan translation exists for this game
A port of a Japanese Computer game that is sadly only the first part of the game. I find this one to be more enjoyable than the PC 88 version but it still probably won't impress many. It's worth at least learning about the story online if the game isn't for you.
A bad licensed game. So boring and awful of a clone of Super Mario Bros. that it's hard to even see the end of this one. If you can beat this game then congrats you have wasted a lot of your time.
A really awful licensed game. Features shmup sections and on foot levels exploring maze-like buildings. The game is brutally difficult and is almost never a fun game. You'll need a lot of patience or a lot of save states to finish this one and you'll probably get the bad ending anyway. Not worth playing even if you're a Dirty Pair fan.
A fan translation does exist but the game is beatable without knowing japanese.

Originally I was against doing one but now that I've played a few more FDS games. Thought I'd finally make it separate. Might do the same for PC Engine CD games.

Since i'm removing ratings and such. Thought i'd do something new for lists for games I've played. Experimenting a little.
