The music of this game is a virus on the mind and I love it to this day.

Nothing will ever convince me that this game's landing sequence was anything other than gaming's first RNG...

Do not attempt unless you are an avid Godzilla fan. This is not for the sake of gatekeeping...this is a warning for your own benefit.

There is exceptional care for detail in this game for the IP and series, from the music, sfx, locations, and characters. It is hands down the most faithful game with Godzilla ever to be made. But my god does it drag on, and on, and on.

This is better described as a Godzilla movie simulator than a game. You'll see insanely well placed references everywhere in the title, but it's not exactly the most engaging game out there by any stretch of the imagination.

Godzilla games never seem to get the best of both worlds... I'm not sure if it's better to compare this to Bomberman...or original Mario Bros.

I've never been so obsessed with the minor details of a game.

There was something in this about sending your opponent flying using a NES Advantage that was magical.

That damn dog needed to die.

This and Super Mario were what started me in games.

Criminally underrated strategy game, and sadly, clearly unfinished when you get to the end. You don't realize how unfinished until you GameShark the unreleased parts, nevermind the story elements left unrealized at the end.

Regardless, the engine and gameplay are fantastic.

The single greatest intro to any video game. I played this to death.

Deceptively long, but I can't finish due to a mortal terror of sharks, and this game abuses that to the nth degree.
