I'm glad this exists for the people who want it. I'm glad it exists as a reminder for me that I'm awful at N64 platforming, have zero desire to return to it (even in the wrapping of one of my favourite games) and it makes me slightly sick when I play it.

Stepping into this game is time travel to the genre I grew up loving; A time made more glowing than it really was by the fact that Return to Monkey Island is more accessible, better told and with logical puzzles.
Early in the game, I allowed a character I was particularly attached to, to murder another character I had yet to explore. It fit with the story I wanted to follow.
Seventy hours later, having completed this near-perfect game, I allowed myself spoilers and consumed as much reading on the game as possible.
The stories and interactions I missed as a direct result of allowing that early murder are another 5-star game unto itself.
