I don't entirely have my thoughts about this game worked out, but wow I loved at. A sad, beautiful, and unique picture exploring death and obsession.

Although the controls are a little clunky, it is poignant, beautiful, and could only have been done through the format of video games. Proof of games as art.

A nice short little game with a really engaging story

harrowing. heartbreaking. hopeful. i adore it. i still think about it all the time.

Now that's how you make a walking Simulator.

This is a deeply moving story told in a unique and creative way. It takes full advantage of the medium and there are some truly incredible moments here, including one near the end that I think makes this game worth buying all on its own. It's barely a game, more of a storybook, but the story is rich enough both in what it tells you and what you can discover on your own that it's well worth a play.

Among the best walking simulators out there.

i wanted to d*e after i finished it, so i think it did its job really well. love me a good walking simulator <3 really gorgeous and beautiful stylisation!

To quickly sum it up, this is probably one of the best walking sims you could play right now. It's also short enough to play in one sitting.

Probably the best “walking simulator” out there

The game does mutliple control gimmicks well, but boy howdy did the fish factory part hit hard.

Honestly my favorite walking sim, right after Firewatch. Feels eerie despite having no horror elements.

what remains of edith finch is a fantastic medium of storytelling and how negative cycles begin and are perpetuated by people

Absolutely wonderful surprise that I picked up on sale a while ago. Lots of memorable set pieces and a wonderful story that brought tears to my eyes.
