what remains of edith finch is a fantastic medium of storytelling and how negative cycles begin and are perpetuated by people

Absolutely wonderful surprise that I picked up on sale a while ago. Lots of memorable set pieces and a wonderful story that brought tears to my eyes.

Genuinely my favorite walking sim. The different mechanical gimmicks in each vignette all work really well, none of them overstay their welcome and each of those smaller stories really makes for an incredibly resonant overarching story.

The story is engrossing, the house is fully detailed to perfection, the score is awesome, the gameplay is super inventive. Best walking simulator I've ever played.

Really compelling story and experience. Loved it.

A beautiful, emotional masterpiece - but only if you like story-oriented walking simulators. If you do, definitely give this one a try (and be prepared for the feels).

Beautiful mash of creative gameplay, gorgeous visuals and a good-ass story.

This game rekindled an existential crisis I've been having since I learned what death was as a child.

One of the best examples of how well you can use games as a medium to tell stories

It lasts two hours so please go ahead and play it. You'll be speechles. Guaranteed.

Only 2 hours long and the story really captured my interest. The little stories about each character were very good and as most people seem to mention, the story of Lewis was incredibly well done.

One of the best ways I've ever seen a video game tell a story. Absolutely incredible.
