I had a really good time playing through this game for the most part. The gameplay does become quite repetitive quickly as there's only a handful of enemy types, but the comedy of a talking gun does help give it some more life. Its a Justin Rolland game so the characters do tend to drone on and mumble over each other, and there's quite a few reference jokes(namely one of the guns is like a carbon copy of the needler). The plot is alright, its a bit goofy and whacky, but the premise of aliens using humans as drugs is pretty unique. Id recommend giving it a go on gamepass but its a pretty quick game so I wouldn't want to pay full price for this.

Its really not as bad as some people make it out to be, but there are a lot of questionable moments that happen in this game that simply do not happen in other tony hawk games. The physics are very floaty, wallrides just don't work half the time??, having cash as a system that you need to collect for stats is awful, and the removal of competition levels hurt this game severely. I do wish robomodo would've just used neversoft's engine, but they really never got the physics down properly.

There is so so so much wrong with this game. To start, the slam mechanic is probably the worst thing ever introduced into the series, as it completely destroys combos. Secondly, some mechanics that have been in since thps4 or even 3 are gone. Double tap tricks are gone, the missions are completely awful, they tried a mix of classic goals like collect skate and combo but also a set of really boring goals you have to complete.
Also the menu is very unintuitive, it didn’t tell me I unlocked a new level, even though I had done all the goals in the first level. I bought this for $5 and I feel ripped off.
