An abridged story of my life, poetry of grief.

As you grow up you realise that the witch in the game is no more scary and instead she could be a good material for wet dreams. Just imagine being Hugo. A weak little troll getting dominated by a tall busty witch

This game is the embodiment of a tragedy. Hugo, a cheerful troll who is living a happy life with his wife and children loses everything he has because of a cruel witch. He must save them, this is not a choice of his own, this is his very own desperate fate.
You see him and his weak little troll body suffer through this journey and yet he does always smile. What is the reason behind this joyful impression? Does he enjoy this? Does he not feel pain? No, the grim truth is that he is just trying to protect his sanity... The last bit of his humanity
And what he gets in the end? One last obstacle between he and his family. He must choose the right rope... No I am serious, you must choose the right one or else your whole progress means nothing. So in the end, all is a matter of luck. Curse this game, it ruined my childhood.

It was fun until you realise cheating is more fun.

Dragon City but with "monsters"

It's boring, but for some reason whenever I close the game the levels of some certain monsters of mine switched back to 20, no matter what. So yeah, curse this garbage.

It was fun until you realise it wasn't.

The only good thing about this game is the sprite work.
The level design is utter trash. It's not about calculating a jump or using your reflexes, now it's all about luck because there are traps everywhere with literally no indicators. The funny thing is, even with this kind of absurd design, the game is surprisingly easy. You can complete most zones with no issues and it saves at every stage.
It's not always easy tho, it suddenly turns into a painful game during the last 2 zones. The best definition for them would be a maze with full of traps.
Oh also, just like the most 2D Sonic games you must get the chaos emeralds to unlock the true ending... Yeah, force me to play boring and poorly designed bonus stages just to get the real final boss. Truly a brilliant idea.
There are also other characters you can choose to play with, unfortunately they aren't solving the horrific level design problem.

The moment you realise that you can write an essay about this game and the sadistic dark nature of children is when you should stop playing it.

Music, voice acting and visuals are just stunning. In technical wise, this game is one of the best of it's time. Unfortunately this is a video game, not an animated movie so the real important thing here is the gameplay... Well, it kinda sucks.
This is a "stealth" game with one of the worst AI I've ever seen in a video game. Enemies are pure incels, tricking them is easy and they usually just walk past their dead-comrades. You may think that something like this would make the whole playthrough a cake walk, well don't worry because creators had two brilliant solutions for this mess!
Spreading enemies in a horrible way (like positioning two enemies right next to each other) and giving them magical communication skills (When an enemy sees you, every other enemy on the area will immediately know your exact position.)
Thanks to these issues I can say that without any hesitation, The Last of Us is the worst stealth game I've ever experienced.
And the funny thing is, shooting mechanics are not bad. The game is fun to play when it's just a third person shooter. Gunplay feels good and the enemy AI works well in combat situations. That's the reason I actually enjoyed the more action packed second half of the game.
The last gameplay mechanic is... moving objects to create a path for yourself. Yeah, that happens a lot in this game and as you would expect, it's not fun.
I know that this game is more about the story and characters but guess what? It's not good.
The story is as basic as possible and the characters are boring stereotypes. And no this is not written well at all. The writing here can't even compete with most movies and tv shows let alone any mediocre work of literature. Sure video games in general still nowhere near as good as those in terms of writing but for a game that takes high priority in it's story I gotta say this one fails in my opinion.
Overall, this game is mostly just mid, the only reason it's getting half a star more is because it truly feels like a nice big budget title.

I didn't expect this one to be so good.
First off, I am really glad that they used a somewhat original story instead of a movie tie-in kinda thing.
Symbiotes conquered the whole New York and they are everywhere, atmosphere is chaotic and our spidey boi is trying to stop this mess with other comic-book characters. Dialogues are entertaining, music is good and graphics are mostly fine for it's time.
Now let's talk about the delicious part, gameplay. It's damn good. Both the traversal and combat.
Web-swinging is one of the best among the other Spider-man games that are released so far. With a lil bit practice, you can get used to it really fast and execute pretty cool moves.
The combat is so damn good. You have three combat situations: on ground, on wall and on air. All of em works so well. There are plenty of moves and you can switch to black suit any time you want with a quick button press which has a different moveset and playstyle. It's not on DMC or Bayonetta level but far better than most of the other games on this genre.
Boss fights are really impressive. All of them feels different from one another (except for some symbiote versions of other bosses)
There is also a choice system, during important events you'll get to choose between good and evil choices, although they usually don't make sense.
The only bad thing about this game is the missions you do before the real important story missions. They are mostly boring chores like defeating a specific number of enemies or escorting a vehicle. They are short but real pace breakers.
All in all, give this one a try especially if you are a Spider-man fan.

That's how I like my GTA games.
Unlike GTA IV which tried something different with a more realistic approach, this one is just like the old games. Characters with exaggerated personalities and crazy missions. On top of that, it has the pinnacle of video game technology, "checkpoints". You are no more in need of to repeat the whole mission with it's boring driving parts just because you failed it.
It's good, it really is good, I could've even said it's better than GTA IV if it was a little longer.

It started great. The level design was perfect for a fast-paced gameplay and the bosses were acceptable.
Then around the last 3 zones, it did the same mistake with the first game. Horrific level design for a fast character and cheap death traps alongside with boring boss fights... Well, at least the OST is great.

You wanna go fast? Too bad, the level design won't let you.
The game forces you to play with a fast character in the levels that are designed for someone like Mario.
The save system is just plain pain. You lost all your lives? Nice, now go to the beginning of the entire game.
I wouldn't mind the save system (since it's pretty normal for that era.) if the levels were not filled with cheap death traps.
Oh also, half of the game takes place underwater. Yeah, such a great idea for a game that associates itself with "speed" right?
