Review for Persona 5 Royal.

Starting off with the bad parts about the game, it is the tedious social simulator that makes you question yourself if you wanna keep going or just stop playing the game for good, it was pretty much pointless to me as I am not a huge fan of anime or JRPGs in general. Moving on we have 5 Palaces that could be straight removed from the game, they just drag on and add no real depth to the actual good parts of the game which is the good start and the well executed ending.
Next on the list is the combat, it is just not for me, I don't like turn-based combat and I don't like that it puts you into a different level everytime you enter combat, it is just unnecessary. Edit: And I forgot to add how awful Mementos are, fuck them.

Bad Palaces we have: Museum, Bank, Futaba, Burger which is almost good, at least the song was good and Ship was just horrible, the worst palace by far.


Moving to the good parts we have Kamoshidas Castle where you just wanna do him in for being such a creep, It was a good Palace, not to long and not to much running around for no reason. Then the game drags you through 4 bad palaces before you get to a good one again which is the Casino, a solid Palace, good lenght and not stupid like the Ship. And for the other 2 palaces we have the last 2 which is the Prison and the Royal exclusive one. The Royal one was just so above all the other palaces it just makes you wonder why they couldn't you just let you skip to it.

S tier Characters are (Yoshizawa, Akechi and Maruki)

Good ones are (Joker and Yusuke)

The rest is just really not that noteworthy and the Cat is really cringe for most of the game but does redeem himself at the end a little bit.

So coming to a conclusion, it could be a better game if all the pointless stuff would be removed and you just make a compact expierience.
