This game will break your heart six ways to Sunday.

I loved the exploration and the hack 'n' slash style of gameplay that we've come to expect from Platinum Games. I also like that the multiple routes don't slow things down. Not only are your stats and weapons carried over, but any side missions you completed in, say Route A, you do don't need to do again in Route B.

The music is some of the best that I've ever heard. "City Ruins," "Forest Kingdom," "Copied City," there's too many to name.

The story is also thoughtful, but also devastating to go through. I haven't played that many games that actually made me cry during certain moments. Well played, Yoko Taro.

With amazing pixel art, a great protagonist, memorable music, and challenging gameplay, "Celeste" is one unforgettable mountain climb. It's the game that made me say "I can do it!"

Chapter 9 can buzz off, though!

An excellent sequel that takes what made the original so great and makes it better. It's one game that I don't recommend just rushing through it; you're gonna miss what this world has to offer.

A highly imaginative game with a breathtaking world, beautiful visuals, great mechanics, memorable music, and one of the best video game protagonists of all time. Combat is a little too simplistic, but doable enough.

I recommend the PS4 port the best, as it controls slightly better, the visuals are improved, and you have all the DLC on the disc.
