"Perfectly balanced, as all things should be."

I used to shit on JRPG's endlessly, then I played Persona 5 and loved it. Then I played Persona 5: Royal and it's in my top 5 games of all time and I look like a thundering dumbass and I couldn't be happier about that because this game is so freaking amazing dude.

(Obligatory "you could say that I never saw it coming" hardeeharhar)

This trilogy is not only the pinnacle of video games, but arguably the greatest work of art that I have ever experienced in any medium ever. Will definitely be writing a longer review after playing through the trilogy again in glorious 4k.

The best Pokémon game ever made and I likely would've never played gotten into video games if it weren't for this masterpiece.

Anyways stan Blaziken.

Took me two playthroughs to come around on this but damn do I love this game now. While the big change in direction the story takes halfway through does ruin the pacing what it accomplishes with this change in direction is unlike anything else I've ever experienced in any piece of media and took this beautifully realized mechanically polished, masterfully told story to the level of being an all time great. When people talk about how Empire Strikes back or Majora's Mask had mixed reception at launch before going on to become generation defining masterpieces, the reception around this game is how that looked back then.
