Surprisingly fun for what was basically Skate, but with motion controls.

2007

A mind-blowing game that singlehandedly redefined the genre. Lacks the satisfying story beats or the campiness that made me fall in love with the Tony Hawk games, but it makes up for it with its commitment to the sport. Not the best of its series, but the founding stone of what things could look like.

Might be a bit controversial, but I found this game to be very fun. It lost most of its original charm, but it wasn't a bad direction to take the game either. Best customization and character creation in the series, fun objectives, and a good progression system to keep you excited for the next unlock. Also an amazing soundtrack.

Lacked absolutely everything that made the other games great. Looks like the alpha of what a TH game should be

My absolute favorite of the series. The storyline is extremely goofy, but it works out in that edgy, campy premise that we were all used to in the 2000s. The gameplay is incredible, the additions are great, and the customization of pretty much everything you can do deserves your attention. Outstanding soundtrack, memorable characters, an unparalleled aesthetic and a story that sticks out in the genre

Good gameplay, fun controls, objectives, and locations. Extremely plain premise, "story", and pay-off to your grinding. The unsalted cracker of the Tony Hawk's series. The soundtrack was great, but it lacks the simplicity that made the earlier games great and the lovable campiness that made the latter games perfect.

How do you make Underground better? Add more locations, more modes, ramp up the stupid shenanigans and give us all the edge of the 2000s punk rock era in game form. The story is nothing to write home about this time, but the game more than makes it up by going ham on the premise and giving you a satisfying experience of destroying absolutely everything in your path with your favorite pros. Outstanding OST, and extremely fun side-modes.

The holy grail of Tony Hawk's games for me. Going for an actual narrative and putting your skating tour over the world in context did wonders for me. Eric Sparrow is still one of the most hated villains in gaming, and I could quote most of the dialogue by memory. One of the best soundtracks, too

Now this is where things started getting really fun for me. Getting rid of the time limit and adding a little bit more of context to the missions did wonders. Strong create-a-skater mode and a killer soundtrack, as usual.

Heresy, but maybe it is because I started the Tony Hawk's Series by the time they had an open world-ish thing going on, so the arcade gameplay in short bursts wasn't right for me. However, I can recognize its genius simplicity and the wonderful OST.

This game actually got me to start caring about wrestling. It is a pioneer of genre-conventions and the atmosphere is so Y2K that you will get frosted tips by the end of it.

The soundtrack is a masterpiece and it is a comfort game of legend. I always come back to it, every now and then.

Captures the spirit of the show really well. Great OST, and the ad-libs make for a hilarious experience.

A complimentary piece to the film, and one of the funnest multiplayer experiences of its time. An absolute blast to play with a friend on couch co-op

Grandaddy of the bullet times. Dated, but still very fun. Aesthetics are unmatched.
