This game could be so much more if there wasn't such a pay to play aspect to this game. The card designs and just gameplay overall is amazing, but the fact you have to throw hundreds of dollars each expansion just to have all the cards necessary to play is just not worth. If they ever change there philosophy this game will be 5 star for sure

Game in my personally opinion is fantastic, but there is definitely a very steep learning curve and the hostile community don't make it any easier. Wouldn't recommend if your not looking to put in time into this game and would only recommend playing with friends
Game takes what Pokémon coliseum started and just builds upon it and fixes some things and adds quality of life features everyone will appreciate. Pacing is still slow as ever but can look past that with all the updates to the game.

Great game, feels super reminiscent of the old pokemon ruby just with a new layer of paint. Can get really easy near the midway part of the game due to the game giving you free legendary and the late game leaders/e4 not being challenging. Also no battle frontier was a let down but overall still a super good remake.

Fantastic game from start to finish only things holding it back is how short of an experience it is with like a 1-2 hour run time if your lucky and having less the a 3rd of the Pokémon available at the time in the game. Still great playthrough though.

Story of this game is very underrated if you take the time to listen and pay attention to the story. Gameplay is great but only really playable with friends wouldn't recommend playing alone. Solid title

This game takes everything that made the original great and amplified it x100. Such a great looking game. Early game can be a little tedious with all the hand holding but it goes away very quickly and your just off to the races. Definitely recommend at least one playthrough if not more.
Just a complete game overall. From story to combat to achievements to collectables just an amazing game.
The only RPG like game I've every played and liked. Story was funny and the Mario coat of paint over this RPG made it playable for me. If you like RPG's I couldn't see why you wouldn't want to play this one.

Other then nostalgic views of this game, there is almost nothing good about this game. I'm gratefully for what it did for Pokémon but looking back at it with all the bugs and the sheer amount of them, its just not a good game.

Solid game just not what i was expecting for a switch title, also with no battle frontier again just knocks it down more.
Game builds upon all the mistakes of red/blue and fixes them plus 99% of the bugs. Solid game overall
Nostalgic views might skew my view of this game but this remains my favorite Pokémon game of all time. Just upgrades absolutely everything about the original and is either the hardest or second hardest game in the series imo.

From start to finish a super complete game. Replay ability is great with this game. Story is amazing and combat is unique and different with every run. Highly recommend.

The only reason you would play this game would be for nostalgic reasons. Nothing to this game other then the pretty art work and sometimes funny dialogue
