Thank you CR-WBW98LX for making me bypass 98% of the fights (except Zinaida and the dam missions since tank legs are slow af).
This is the hardest but also most cheesable game in the series, that cannon was a mistake

It goes very hard and gives you a lot of options to choose from. Everything is powerful and usable, missions are pretty good

Best Arena experience imo, really liked the introduction of the heating mechanic (even if it feels too overtuned). Final boss is a meme fight but its design is great

Best gen 1 game imo. I don't love how clunky the PS1 games feel, but this one is much better than Project Phantasma

Learn the controls and all the mechanics and you have a great first game. It has the closest feel to King's Field especially in some missions, there is a lot of experimental stuff and many mid or not very fun missions, but it's surprising how many things From nailed on their first game

Who the fuck asked for an "escort submarine" mission? "Pillar of Light" is a mess too. Not a great idea having close spaces that don't make you dodge and move freely since it's the "new thing". Luckily For Answer improves on that

Nerf this, nerf that, take out arena, nerf EN, make the player feel like a toy unless they use a tank, half the game is filler missions, make MTs tough as hell. New controls are fire and also are the UI and the OST. This game is cool but not consistent.
Disc 2 starts very well but then Project Phantasma, flying enemies and comprenetating hitboxes happen. The last few missions are good remakes but the ones in the middle are not fun
