This kind of happens a lot. I'll fall in love with a game so completely and when the next game in the series or by that studio is announced, I'll get really excited for it. But really what I tend to want is an extended version of what I've already played, so sometimes I bounce off highly anticipated games pretty hard. I don't hate the games on this list, I just didn't enjoy the experiences they're offering. I wish I liked these more than I did! Some even came close.
