Dearest bitter sweet memories of a long lost lifetime.

This game is DIVINE. Everything is Eikon tier except for sidequests.

Art direction 10. Combat design 10. Story and dialogue 10. System mechanics 0. If I see another random input drop and outdated systematically wrong mechanics in the next fromsoft game I turn Miyazaki into Miyafucky.

I wish there was local multiplayer, but hey, its still good

Feels like an old game and at the same time doesn’t feel like an old game. They messed something up. The maps are also really weird to play.

there’s a computer vs computer mode but not a local multiplayer

Dope fighter that came out at an unfortunate time and underperformed. A love letter to Tekken fans, this is a non-canon roster that's got everyone, and a ton of little touches like unique interactions between your 2 characters. And I prefer playing as 2 characters and tagging, the matches go that little bit longer and it adds another level of strategy. Excited for Tag 3.

This is a celebration of Tekken.
Overall it's an enjoyable fighting game but very unbalanced.

The core gameplay is great but there are so many things that can break the game's rules. There are way too many unnecessary characters and the rage mechanic can be annoying to play against.

As for the content, there's a lot! Even if you don't want to play online, there are many gamemodes you can choose from.

Last but not least, the character customization is very varied and has many items to use.

A very fun fighting game albeit somewhat broken in some aspects, it really feels like an amusement park full of content.

Final Rating: "Good" ~ 7/10.

It really is just a GTA clone at heart, but it's still a really good game nonetheless. It had a really good story of an undercover cop working up the triad ladder and a really great combat system that allows for lots of different combos and cool moves. I also wasn't overwhelmed with a bunch of side missions, most of them were fun to do and not that tedious. A few random glitches here and there, but nothing really significant. Overall, just a pretty fun GTA clone with a good story, not much else needed.

pure trash

What made 7 great with some added stuff from Wii that makes this feel like the definitive Mario Kart, which is obvious, but still. There's a reason it's been the standard for 10 years now, there's not much else you can do that this game hasn't done. Great roster of maps both base game and DLC, remakes are consistently good to great (Coconut Mall is a rare exception), character lineup is good but definitely some weird choices (zero people wanted 5 Babies and also WHERE IS CAPTAIN FALCON), but the obvious winner here is the gameplay. Every bit as smooth as you'd expect from a 7 follow-up, plus anti-grav allowing for much more dynamic map layouts and the return of ramps just make this so much fun to play. I went through the entire roster of non-remakes with my friend and it was some of the most fun we've had in a while. A+ game, even if there are a couple aspects from the older games I prefer. Only slightly.
