This game Improved from the first game gameplay wise, but I believe graphics and story wise I like the first game better. Don't get me wrong though just because of because of the controls and game play alone I much rather play Max Payne 2, as the first game didn't have as much janky platforming and unfair one shot deaths. Overall I had a much better time playing Max Payne 2 as the game was a lot more fun.

Also the rag doll effects in this game was such an improvement. Nothing more satisfying then wrecking someone and seeing there body go flying. The weapon variety in the game also improved as there wasn't one weapon that I didn't mind using.

Great graphics, pretty fun gameplay, and just overall a good co-op game with friends. I Wish there was a linear story though.

I love this game, great humor, and great characters. I just wish finding things and figuring things out weren't such a nightmare at times. I would have rated this game 5 stars if only the puzzles were a bit simpler.

Great gameplay that I feel like I didn't get enough of due to always being forced into cutscenes. I wish the game would have let you played more and watched less. Still overall gameplay was the best in the series due to all the guns being very well balanced and fun to use.

The story needed a bit of work and they took out the comic book scenario cutscenes which are iconic to max payne.

2003

I wouldn't run to play this game as it was very generic 007 type shooter. The stealth parts of the game was cool, but I really did feel as though something was missing. The gunplay was kinda boring and inconsistent. The graphics and comic book theme were probably the best part of this game.

I was not expecting this game to take so many different twist and turns with the gameplay, it really took me by surprise. I just wish the symbols when upgrading or removing cards had explanations on them instead of having to memorize them so that when I landed on a space I could get the upgraded I wanted.

When I first played this game years ago during its release I remember being terrified, but now that it is 2024 I might have had gotten scared once. I think for its time it was a very scary game, but having played so many games that have improved on the survival horror adventure genre it really doesn't compare to what is out now.

Still this is a fun game with a great concept and a real exciting turn for a genre which makes it still worth playing today.

Truly a remarkable experience to play a game that inspired a true master piece... Resident Evil. This game in no shape or form is forgiving and will punish you at all cost, but its a great to see how this game wonky controls worked. I used a guide this whole game because it is almost impossible to beat it without one in my opinion or you would probably have to spend hours trying to figure things out yourself. In one section of the game they tried to implement platforming which is god awful which is definitely not needed, but it is a little fun. Its just good to see how Capcom took this game and made it so much better and later on seeing how alone in the dark then resident evil again further down the line in the series.

A spin off to alone in the dark very short, its basically like a dlc to alone in the dark its nothing special with the same clunky controls.

I want to say that this game feels a little like monster hunter and darksouls a bit, but it still feels like its own game.

The game itself starts off really fun and exciting with what seems like a lot to do at first when it suddenly starts to get very repetitive and boring. The gameplay, the enemies and the bosses never change and I feel like I'm doing the same thing on repeat. I did have a lot of fun with the game and I don't regret playing it, but I will not be coming back to play it because I didn't even want to finish it (I got to post game and stopped).

One of the best games ive played in a long time!!!

The game plays like Darks Souls, but with a Banjo-Kazooie/Sponge-Bob setting and feel. There is quit a few bugs and the game not perfect, but this is by far one of the best games I've ever played gameplay wise. That goes a long way for me especially since I'm not a huge fan of dark souls in the first place. You know a game is good when you feel the need to 100% it!

The one problem I had with the game is that towards the end it wasn't even a challenge to fight the bosses. There is one very large none boss enemy that was more annoying then the ending bosses.
