Atmospherically and scenically really good horror game but the story doesn't make any sense at all and it's once again the clichéd, unlucky protagonist.

Super nice calm gameplay loop with fantastic eerie lovecratic setting and beautiful graphics. Really great recommendation for this Innsmouth Fishing Sim.

With Moons of Madness the first game for 2023 through and am somewhat disappointed. Thrown away potential, starts really good and then falls sharply. I expected a horror walking simulator, but apart from a few cheap jumpscares, there was hardly any atmosphere and the few action sequences were just annoying and frustrating, because you couldn't immediately see what to do in the rush. The dialogues were flat and completely emotionless. The protagonist sounded like he was changing a light bulb while fighting for the survival of himself and the crew members.

Okayish story with some epic wow moments and is technically nearly perfect but it lacks variety in gameplay and the wow effects from his predecessor. It's way more linear (your allies need to inform you verbally throughout the game that you can explore the world) and you know already most of the areas and enemies from GoW 4.
