This has been discussed by everyone else in the universe. It's very good. I won't belabor the point any further.
I honestly hated the story, but that music and game play is phenomenal.
Feel like a genius. Expand your mind. Move names into boxes.
Padded? Yes. Too much game for what it is. Rough edges? Plenty. It does something really great for more and delivers on the core themes that my nostalgia-bait fav, Xenogears, didn't stick the landing on.
Hear me out: it's the best and most accessible shump I've played in years. Why then does its name rhyme with anus? I wish I could tell you.
