Doesn't feel like they were really going for anything with this one. But i just like all these games anyway

This is cool. Id play more of these

This games great, and probably better if you know the language

"the sound and graphic quality of a movie joins effectively the interaction of a next generation video-game"

bit of a stretch

I really like this game. Feel like i completely fucked up my story.
Oops

Found the cutscenes really obnoxious. Not sure why they're fully voiced. I think it takes a lot of the charm out of the characters, but I don't think I'd enjoy them either way. Plus they're unskippable. Especially annoying when learning all the new poses.

Still really like the mixed media look of all the mini games, but I don't like playing this game.

Easily one of my new favorite games.

I think this game is just bad at everything it tries to do. But, i dunno. Its a good idea for a game and i guess they tried

We booted up the .wad instead of the .pk3 or whatever because we don't know anything about doom. We got all the keys in the house and finished the level. After playing like 7 more levels of regular doom 2 we figured something was up and realized we were doing it wrong.

As someone with no real experience with doom or doom mods I thought it was pretty cool. I was mostly just found the atmosphere, architecture, stange geometry stuff very engaging. Very fun to explore. We did use a guide, I don't think we would have seen much at all if we were trying to figure it out on our own. It was fun though. I didn't really try to follow the narrative at all, and im not interested in the meta fictional stuff surrounding the game. This was cool though. Got me to play some doom, which is actually fun, and I'd be interested seeing what other weird mod stuff exists.

So the game lets you create you own fighter, and the story mode is about some rando who wants to join fight club. But instead of just inserting your own character into the story mode, they instead have you play as some guy whose model and voice are very hard to distinguish from what they use to represent ed nortons character. It gets especially confusing during scenes when the main character, ed norton, and tyler durden are all talking to eachother.

It could be better. Doesn't feel like any effort went into the scenario or filler characters they created. The cutscenes look awful, but they're still pretty charming. Game plays like a shitty fighting game. I think its still pretty fun.

Also apparently Meat Loaf reprised his role as Bob.

2009

they made some mistakes with this one

Didn't like the ending in this one.
